Ace started to get the hang of how to obtain a more effective way of leveling. Don't go never for the easy way, that's what Beat always told him and in Dreamland that was a rule. If you killed the monsters in the ground, you would get some items for quests but the flying ones gave items for quests that gave better rewards and since usually only the ranged players could kill them and even they had some troubles to do so were used for potions or equipment that were of D quality that caused that the price of the items of those monsters was greater than it was calculated to be.
Also with the farming he also gained some wolf cores, a pair of eagle cores which combined with iron or better materials create good equipment.

Still the fact that Ace could farm them easily thanks to the training that Ace recieved was a trouble for Ace. But Ace could care less about that trouble. Or so he thought. After farming until lv 8, he stopped farming and started going back to Bradtiel because he wanted to be safe before putting points into his build but some players stopped him. Ace saw a small light coming from a tree, and noticed that something was going wrong. Ace knew that his way of obtaining experience from the birds was odd, and those players surely wanted to know how. A dragon approached him and started talking, but his friends that were humans that were using assassin skills or elves that were mages or priests. In total they were 20 guys.
-Dragon: Hi gal. May I talk to you for a moment?
-Ace: I want to return quickly to Bradtiel, so better that I don't stop walking. I'm a busy player.
-Dragon: Oh. Well... There's no need to rush so much. I only want to do a deal with you.
-Ace: Which is...? "I'm sure that he wants to learn my skills. He won't try nothing odd with a newbie."
-Dragon: Give us all your materials that you have obtained killing the birds.
-Ace: You'll pay for them?
-Dragon: No. But you don't want a GM looking for you because you used cheats. Am I right?
-Ace: Tell to Oboro that. By the way, remind him that he still owes Beat 20 dollars. And that if he does not return them, Beat will grab them from his salary.
-Dragon: You are just bluffing.
-Ace: You think so? Try it then. (Smirks) If he kills you, you know that I was telling the truth. He hates being remembered of what he owes.
-Dragon: Like a newbie like you knows a GM like Oboro.
-???: Because he is a VIP guy.

Oboro got out of a tree and smiled. He had been watching all the situation as a way to pass time. But after hearing that of the debt, he wanted to cut Ace in little pieces. Ace smiled at Oboro, he knew from the start that Oboro was watching him.
-Oboro: Only few know that. You are not me, neither Lea or Beat. So you must be him. Beat warned me of your arrival, kid.
-Ace: I hate using my connections. But I hate even more to be stolen by a bunch of greedy guys.
-Oboro: They don't even stand a chance against Geralt. So against me, this should be piece of cake.
-Dragon: But he is using cheats!
-Ace: I used Void Knight skills. Wink for being exact.
-Dragon: That skill is useless! It cannot do that!
-Oboro: It can. You really think that Beat creates only easy skills? Well, that's true. But there are other developers, but play in areas that no one is yet! Lucky bastards...
-Ace: Let Zero sensei have his fun, Oboro.
-Oboro: I know... Zero loves Void Knight skills. Well... He created them so is natural to love all that skill tree.
-Ace: Yeah.
-Dragon: Guys! Let's leave for now! A GM helping a cheater! How down Oboro has fallen!
The dragon and his friends left and they looked angry.
-Oboro: I'll kill you someday.
-Ace: For telling your debt? Better that I did not talk of your date with Lea.
-Oboro: You'd be dead if you weren't Beat's kid.
-Ace: Lucky me! See you later! Thanks for the save!
Ace started walking back to Bradtiel and Oboro opened his menu and saw that he was going to be late for his date with Lea and logged out.
Ace had to go to the guild of adventurers, that place made those who weren't in a guild to create one, find  recruitment places of several guilds and more importantly the quest board.
With the quest board, you could take quests and do them and it was the fastest way to level up and money for new players.

Ace went back to Bradtiel. It was truly beautiful, filled with players buying and selling but of course there was always trouble. People taking advantage of other people, sellers tricking buyers into buying useless things and many people unable to go out of Bradtiel because they did not have money to buy a weapon because they bought an useless item with all their money.
Still, there was people giving to those who were tricked the equipment they needed to start going out. All of them had the same emblem in their equipment and the same colour. White and grey armors with the emblem of a wolf smiling.
Ace was surprised to see that and wanted to know what guild or group was doing this for free. But kept walking around the city looking for the guild of adventures building(where Geralt and the others created the guild in book 1) but a vampire collided with him. The vampire was Geralt.
-Geralt: Oh sorry! I'm going to check how the trading is going but I end crashing with a newbie! I'm Geralt, a pleasure to meet you!
-Ace: My name is Ace. (Looks Geralt's armor) Are you from a guild?
-Geralt: Oh yeah! I'm the master of Diamond Wolfves. You surely saw some of the members helping new people.
-Ace: Yeah. I noticed that. Go with care, there are many people tricking new players.
-Geralt: I should talk with Duraralt of that. Maybe contacting Beat is a good idea...
-Ace: "I should tell him to wait? He's busy right now... No, he'd learn that I know of him and that means trouble! Also he is way too kind. And as Dad always says, nothing is way too good unless there's a catch!" Well, now I have to go to the guild of adventurers building. But I got lost. Can you tell me where I could find it?
-Geralt: Go to the left and then to the right. It's easy once you arrive here!
-Ace: Thanks!
Ace starts going but then he hears something. He heard Winalalt talking.
-Winalalt: That guy hides something, Geralt. I can feel it.
-Geralt: Maybe he was just afraid that I'd just obliterate him. We are strong compared to him, Winalalt.
-Winalalt: Yeah... I guess you are right.
Ace was surprised at hearing a god talking. His dad always said that only emperor candidates could hear a god talking. But he just recently got into the game. Maybe the FTEC saw him as a possible emperor candidate? He decided to not think it a lot. He was close to Beat, so he could just ask him.
He focused into going to the guild of adventurers.

Hi readers! Ace has already found troubles but he was saved by Oboro. But why he could hear Winalalt when not even Jerome could hear her?
Who knows!
