Ace and the others managed to arrive to the last room that was a room filled with treasures, chests filled with gold and jewels, and a pure white sword lies in the middle of the room near an armor that was in the ground.
Ace smiled and rushed to get the sword, because a holy sword never seen would be extremely valuable since he had the Sword of Improvement, but the armor started to get up slowly and the spirit that was inside the armor could be seen as it was human.
The spirit was a tall man with long golden hair, black eyes, with a slash scar in his face and was pretty jacked.
-Ace: I tried to get the sword before the boss awakened. Guys, take out all the holy element things you have and greet Charles the third! Last king of Blanfiere!
-Charles: And the one who got betrayed by his own wife even when it was starting to become obvious!
-Mike-Oscar: Well, maybe we could do some matrimonial consultancy service. But surely we suck at that.
-Zarark: Could we handle this boss already?
-Charles: Yes, let’s cut to the chase!
Charles rushed to Ace and used his Swift Thrust to impale Ace but Ace used Wink to dodge the attack and grab the holy sword and equipped it without even looking at the status and attacked without a thought and damaged it a bit. Charles got angry and used a burst of mana but the spirit disappeared and Zarark shot twice and took a 25% of the total HP of Charles and Mike-Oscar shot a heavy bolt and took a 10% of the total HP of the boss. Charles then started to cast an ability and Ace started shivering because it was Obliterating Defense, a guardian skill that created a barrier that endured all damage until a 2% of the total HP and returns it doubled.
-Ace: Everyone, do not attack during 1 minute! If we cannot avoid damaging that barrier, we will receive two times the damage we deal to it!
-Zarark: Crap! I never saw a guardian using Obliterating Defense!
-Mike-Oscar: Few take it because if they do they won’t have the skill points for more offensive skills!
Everyone was dodging all the attacks of Charles while they were focused on not damaging the barrier.

After one minute, Charles lost the barrier and used Soul Burst again and the team managed to take almost the remaining life and Charles started shaking.
-Mike-Oscar: I feel like we were too prepared for this boss.
-Zarark: Yep.
Mike-Oscar got too close to Charles and Charles used Thousand Hits on Mike-Oscar and almost killed him but Zarark shot to kill and finished with Charles.
-Ace: And later you said that we prepared too much. I would have even brought a pair of Endurance potions to increase our defense.
-Mike-Oscar: Yep. And a pair more of health potions.
-Zarark: At least the idiot was the one who got hit.
-Ace: And you won’t stay in one piece at this rate.
-Zarark: Okay, I cover the entrance.
-Ace: And pass some potions to heal Mike.
-Mike-Oscar: No need! I still have some.
Mike-Oscar grabbed some health potions he was carrying and started drinking them until he was completely healed and Ace grabbed a third of all the treasures there were in the room that arrived to give 2000000 gold and grabbed the drops that he obtained from Charles and looked happy because he obtained the King’s Crown and Armor.

Zarark was less lucky and obtained King’s Sword and the King’s core that was not an Eltear but it worked to create monsters for your own dungeons and Mike-Oscar only obtained the King’s Armor and looked pretty disappointed.
But the best part of the rewards was the three small red seeds that the three adventurers obtained. Those seeds were the small VIT seeds, it only gave the adventurers 5 points in VIT but it was 1500 HP extra that they gained and a bit of DEF that never was bad.
-Ace: We got a lot! Alongside all we obtained from the monsters our bags are pretty full!
-Zarark: Before leaving, we have to do the inventory check.
-Mike-Oscar: True!
Ace checked his inventory and sighed because even if he got a lot of drops, they were mostly things for crafting or useless because he had 1000 rocks, 250 glowing stones, 3 heavy maces, 400 living seals, 12 of iron ingots and 2 orichalcum ingots.
Zarark was extremely lucky and got 400 rocks, 600 glowing stones, 4 golem cores, a pair of Armors of the undead, 300 iron ingots and 200 orichalcum ingots.
And Mike-Oscar only obtained cores and was extremely disappointed because he wanted an armor of the undead but Zarark gave him one of the pair he obtained.
The group went back to the base they had and Harlequinn looked happy to see the three back and wanted to see the drops they had obtained.

Meanwhile… Ariamor had a call to answer. His friend Sieg needed some recipes and Ariamor decided to give them to him for a good price. After all Sieg was the son of an important mayor and having a mayo as an ally could prove extremely useful and steeling the friendship with the mayor by helping Sieg was the best.
-Ariamor: Hi Sieg. What do you need?
-Sieg: I will need some recipes of the explosive orb. I have some igniting gem!
-Ariamor: It is rumoured that it could blow up a big building.
-Sieg: I want to test it against the GMs.
-Ariamor: Hmmm… Good idea. It will be a sure sell if it is capable of defeating those monsters from afar. “And would give me the time to fix my troubles.”
-Sieg: Then.... Will you help me?
-Ariamor: Of course!
Ariamor finished the call and started smiling. Finally he had an easy plan to fix one of his troubles and a safe chance of making his troubles disappear or at least make them easier to fix.

Well, Ariamor is up to something again. Meanwhile, our thieves have surpassed the VIT Sanctuary!
