Chapters 12: Demon Lord Umbra

Ace looked at Raynax and tried to see any opening that she could have but that dwarf had a hammer and that meant a perfect counter for him with a win in range and power. Still since it was heavy it would be slower than his blade.
Ace used Wink to get closer to Raynax and tried to slash her but she dodged it.
-Raynax: I won't fall for that.
-Ace: Well, I had to try.
Ace used Void ambush and appeared behind Raynax and did a wide slash from dextra while using strong slash and that caused a heavy damage.
Raynax fell to the ground but got up quickly.
-Raynax: I shall kill you. HEAVY CRUSH!
Raynax got her hammer above Ace but Ace dodged it easily with a pirouette and did a swift slash from sinistra and made distance to charge a Demon Lord Blast and blasted Raynax. Still Raynax had only lost a 25% of HP and she used Hopper to get closer and Raynax hit Ace with her hammer. Meanwhile Alice tried to recover MP as fast as she could.

With only a hit, Ace lost a 30% of HP. That made him shiver but he was smiling. Because now he knew that if he managed to dodge all the attacks of Raynax and attacked her quickly he could win but at the first second he messed up and she hit him with a hammer skill, he would be dead.
Ace used Stasis to stop Raynax and drank a pair of potions to recover the HP lost, then slashed her from dextra twice by doing a quick spin and cut one of her arms and Ace got far from Raynax using Wink.
Raynax could not use her hammer now but she took out a dagger and aimed at Ace's left leg. But she couldn't hit him.
-Raynax: Who are you?
-Ace: A Demon Lord that goes by the name of Ace.
-Raynax: Who taught you to fight?
-Ace: Zero himself.
-Raynax: So that's why I can't hit you... I recalled seeing your sword fighting style somewhere and now I know. I saw it in the trailer of Dreamland.
-Ace: A shame that your envy blinded you. But now your facade is broken. Like your pride.
-Raynax: I won't surrender. I will deliver Devil and Alice to Ariamor.
-Ace: You won't gain nothing. Only lose resources and equipment.
-Raynax: You think so?
Then a portal made of Darkness appeared below Raynax and a huge beast that seemed a dragon with purple hair ate Raynax and a tall woman with long golden hair, blue eyes with a black mark in her left cheek who was wearing a golden robe and a pair of golden heels, looked at what remained of Raynax. She had a golden short sword in her left hand and a black book with a golden gem in her right hand.
-???: Disgraceful useless idiot of Raynax. Useless people like her deserve a spanking. And turned easy profit into disgraceful cost!
-Ace: And to who I owe the pleasure to meet?
The woman turned around and saw Ace and smiled.
-Umbra: I am madame Umbra. Executive of True Gold, branch of Magic Items. And you are the little Demon Lord that I have heard about. I am also a Demon Lord. Still, I have taken a lot of skills that increased my magical powers.
-Ace: And you are a humanoid Demon. We are leaving but thanks for the help.
-Umbra: Who said that you could leave? I certainly did not.
-Ace: Come on! What about of letting us off the hook once?
-Umbra: Ariamor wants this solved. So sorry, young man. I will not allow any kind of resistance. So unless you want a good spanking, wait here until Ariamor comes.
-Ace: It won't be that you want a piece of mine, madame?
-Umbra: Sassy. I like it. Still you are like a grape, I need to turn you into a good wine which I would like to have dinner with.
-???: You shall not get a chance for that.
A tall human with short black hair jumped from a roof.

That human was wearing a long red coat which is very badly damaged from battle which seemed patched up. Beneath that he wore a steel chestplate, steel shoulderpads and steel kneepads on black silk clothing. He was using a red mask on the side of his head which looks like it's smiling. When fighting he pulls it down. He also was wearing a white glove in his right hand which were covered in red stains from all his fighting and on his left hand he had a black gauntlet and used a sword in his left hand.
That human grabbed Umbra with his left hand.
-???: BEAR SUPLEX!
The human with his gauntlet glowing with a reddish glow and did a suplex on Umbra who could not resist the power of that suplex and suffered heavy damage, but Umbra teleported quickly and avoided ending buried.
-Umbra: How many people will come!?
-Ace: Don't ask me!
-Umbra: Still, you must be Devil...
-Devil: That is right. Get out of here.
-Umbra: Directly to the matter on hand. Seems that I shall break that shell of yours. But another time. I have lost my fair share of time with you and time is gold. So ta-ta!
-Ace: You ain't escaping now!
Ace tried to attack Umbra but he missed.

Umbra crushed a crystal and a ball of light protected her and that ball of light disappeared.
-Devil: She left.
-Alice: Well! At least I am not with that meanie of Rayax! But I do not like that Darkness I felt in the little pet that Umbra used to attack Rayax!
-Ace: A Demon Lord like me... Troubling. Still, I want to tell you both a deal. I want you to work with me. I will do a heist, and I need good people.
-Alice: It can be good... But if you have some skill like hers it is dangerous to be near you.
-Devil: I accept.
-Alice: WHAT!?
-Devil: It is interesting.
-Ace: Glad to see you two on my team.
-Devil: How many members you need?
-Ace: 2 more to recruit! But I know who they are! Well, after the folders with all their info, it is like I know all!
-Alice: Well! What we will do! It surely will be a group of nice people!
-Ace: (sighs) You never change Alice. Never.
-Alice: We know each other!?
-Ace: Did you not recognize me!? That hurted.
-Alice: (thinks a bit) Oh! It's you! That man's son... I still remember his YOHOHO!
-Ace: I am hurt a lot... "Because she is too pure! Dammit all!". Well, I have to go after the other two! There is an inn over here.... (Points in a map of Bradtiel where the inn where Harlequin is). There you will find Harlequin, she is helping me! See you.
Ace left to Bradtiel to go find Zarark.
