Chapter 16: The First Heist

The team was ready to go with the plan and they started doing all the plan.

Harlequin talked with the guildmaster and they both started talking of a possible deal with big guilds and was followed by Enforcer. Zarark prepared to cover Ace, Alice infiltrated in the riot and the plan started coming along.

Ace entered into the warehouse and saw a giant mechanical line where people crafted a sort of necklace with a small eagle feather. Ace found a box and had a random yet funny idea. Ace quickly grabbed the box and hid himself in it and slowly walked to the crafting line and grabbed a finished necklace. Ace checked the description.

Bio: This joke item was crafted by the worst bunch of scammers. Get good.

Ace almost started to laugh but he managed to control it. He left the line using the box and found a piece of paper and wrote in it: Get good! YOHOHOHO!
Ace wanted to do it just to put salt in the wound after he stole everything. So he kept going slowly and kept going.
The warehouse was immense literally it was larger than the house that he lived in, there was even a bath but he heard girl voices and decided to stay away because he thought that someone would get out. If Ace knew one thing, is that a someone embarrassed screams way too loud. And now was not the time for a random surprise.
Ace kept going and entered into a big room where there was a wooden throne and a lot of stone statues. It was the room where the guild master was so Ace knew that the treasure was close and he left the box and searched for the treasure and found it.

The treasure room was a big room filled with gold coins, jewels and many golden statues and looked to who the statues belonged and saw True Gold. Ace quickly knocked them and now they noticed that they were not only statues. He put all in his bag in a moment but he had now a problem. It weighted too much! So he sent a part of the golden statues to Alice, another to Zarark and a bit to Mike-Oscar.
Without the extra weight, he was able to move quickly, left the message and got out of the treasure room and got into the box again.
But then the guild master appeared with Harlequin at his side. He was a dragon with a plated armor that used a longsword that was blue and had an aura that made it look more dangerous. The dragon saw the box and attacked it but Ace managed to avoid the hit using wink.
-Darren: I am Darren, guild master of Blue Hand! Who dares to try to steal from me?
-Ace: Just a simple thief that goes by the name of Ace. Yohoho!
-Darren: What is the meaning of this Harlequin? You tried to betray me?
-Harlequin: I'm always on my own side! Now I have to take you down.
-Ace: He is mine!
-Harlequin: Are you bloody serious!?
-Ace: Yes, I am!
-Harlequin: If you are looking down my power, I will kick your ass! I will handle this with your help or not!
-Ace: You surely are stubborn… Well, you are in a 2V1 situation Darren.
-Darren: Huh? A newbie and a mage? That won't do against a player like me!
Darren grabbed his sword tightly and rushed to Harlequin. His plan was to kill Harlequin first, an illusionist can make some troubles for a swordsman and she had long range skills and could fly. Later he would punish the new player and toy with him until he gained all the money that the new player had.

But his plan was foiled rather quickly. Ace saw his intentions by the small movements of his shoulders and hands and made a quick response with a slash from dextra and a quick thrust in the right arm of Darren but could not disable Darren's arm because he did not do enough damage. His damage was not enough to make it work well, the difference between the two players in terms of level was too vast. But Harlequin was smart and prepared a small spell.
-Harlequin: MANA BOMB!
Harlequin threw a bomb made of mana and caused heavy damage to the arm of Darren and disabled it. That made Darren unable to use his sword but then he smiled and took out a lance.
-Darren: I will get serious now! I am a Lancer not a Warrior! And I can still use the lance with one arm!
Darren rushed to Harlequin and hit her with his lance and hit her neck, killing her in the spot. Ace could do nothing thanks to the difference of levels, he was way too fast for him now. Ace could kill him but with the difference that a man like Darren with that much power would kill him too. Ace was enraged, even after all his hard work and training, Darren with simple raw power could defeat him. It was like in the real world, those with raw power broke those who tried to become stronger.

But Ace started to hear a voice. It was not Enforcer talking to him, it was not Darren's laughing. It was something else.
-???: Do you hate the status quo? The raw power beating the training? If that's the case, then accept my gift! Raise, Demon Lord Ace! That your wrath breaks this world!
-Ace: I understand that raw power is as important as the training. And that the status makes it even worse. But I won't allow that man to steal more from the others!
-Darafor: My name is Darafor, first overlord! I give you my blessing!
A message appeared in front of Ace, it said:
A new skill has been learned, DEMON LORD MODE. Activation in 30 seconds.
Ace looked dead and Darren started laughing.
-Darren: And the spirit of the boy broke! That is what you get for going to help others!
Darren went to finish Ace but then something weird happened. Ace started laughing at Darren.
-Darren: What is it so funny!?
-Ace: Your face after what will happen.
Ace was surrounded by darkness and Ace changed totally. Ace armor now was a pitch black armor with darkness like if it was clothing and had a cape made of darkness that floated on its own. Ace eyes were crimson red and in his forehead there was a demon face emblem that smiled.
Darren got scared and attacked Ace but he stopped the attack with his sword and grabbed the lance and broke it in half.
-Ace: I stole your facade and your pride. Your time is over and the punishment time has arrived. I am Demon Lord Ace! Now, bow!
Darren got scared and started running away. He couldn't understand why he lost to a player with less level and worse armor but that was what happened. He fell to the ground and looked back only to see Ace smiling like a demon while Enforcer was shaking.
-Ace: Time to die, little bastard.
Ace stabbed Darren and threw him off the building where many people were about to start a riot.

What will happen? Ace will finish off Darren!? Who knows! Stay tuned to know it.
