Chapter 36:The Plan For The Second Heist

After several hours, Ace and the others joined to talk in the HQ about the plan to obtain the gem.
-Harlequin: If we have to do this... It must be on the moment that the prototype is being taken or attack the academy.
-Ace: The personal storages have tight security I guess.
-Zarark: Exactly. The mercenaries found it out.
-Ace: Well, good job guys!
-Phoenix: You're welcome.
-Devil: No need to say thanks. You asked us to check that out.
-Harlequin: I suppose that the GMs are warned.
-Ace: Yes.
-Alice: Good!
-Wanderer: And our plan is?
-Ace: We need a distraction. And better that we go after the academy. If we have to discover how they are going to transport the prototype it will be a hard thing and we should expect tight security around the transport... So going after the transport is a no go.
-Harlequin: I can handle the distraction. One good illusion spell is all what we need for that.
-Wanderer: But we should not drag too much attention.
-Enforcer: Indeed. We would not be able to do the hit well if we are followed by guilds.
-Ace: Indeed. Wanderer... Can you prepare some flashbangs and smoke bombs?
-Wanderer: Yes and in case that you have to face Sieg I should prepare a good armor. No offense but your equipment sucks.
-Ace: Thanks. Prepare if you can something for Danny.
-Wanderer: I will try.
-Ace: Meanwhile, we have time to go buying materials for our heist.
-Alice: And our team setup for the heist?
-Ace: There will be two teams. One is Harlequin team and the other is mine. I get Mike-Oscar and Zarark. I will not need more companions.
-Wanderer: Alice, Enforcer and me can disperse some tempo bombs.
-Harlequin: Meanwhile the mercenaries can cover me.
-Ace: Yes but if they find Wanderer's team... The plan will be down.
-Wanderer: Not important. We can hide it under the premise of making a more interesting festival and we can even hide it as an order from the GMs.
-Ace: Nice. That helps a lot. Less liabilities.
-Harlequin: I will gather data of Sieg. We will be prepared for him and his friends.
-Wanderer: I will start working on the armors and all. I have some S class materials. They are insanely cheap!
-Ace: Really!? "
-Wanderer: Yes! Since almost no one can use them, they have almost no value!
-Ace: I see! Good thing! With the hint I gave you that is like discount for the best materials!
-Wanderer: Yes!
Ace smiled and everyone started leaving and getting the last preparations for the heist.

Meanwhile, Kidd had been laughing and even it had reached the howling point due to seeing how fast Artorias got embarrassed when they talked of his girlfriend.
-Kidd: Seriously! People will think that you are into 2D at this rate Artorias!
-Artorias: Shut it or I will shut you up.
-Minnie: Why did you have to come with us? It would be a good date without you!
-Kidd: And allow this lizard to be a able to feel pride in front of us!? Never!
-Artorias: You truly want that I open a hole in your chest...
-Kidd: Want to go at it? Okay! I will be destroyed but it will be fun how you destroy this area!
Kidd starts laughing again and Artorias is having a hard time to not kill him.
-Kidd: Still, seems that the boss is back and to be honest... We needed him to light up our will to fight.
-Minnie: Yeah, we all couldn't fight together so well unless he was around to stop each other from flipping the others off.
No one did say anything about the message of Duraralt but everyone outside of the group could see how the group was starting to be more active which was a thing that led to all the big guilds to consider transferring their biggest HQs to the island just to be a bit away from Angel's Paradise and that made everything a bit more unstable than usual.

It seemed like a great moment for Dreamland was happening and everyone was getting ready for it.

Why? Because it starts with the message of the previous versions of the chapter (which does not allow me to post it well) and no one can manage to update without wasting a long time rewriting.

Also I wanted to make this chapter extra long but as usual, the trouble that I have makes me lose chapters sometimes and some other times I lose parts of the chapter. I have to rewrite parts of the chapter each once in a while and that is quite the hard thing.
