Chapter 17: Shadow Smile Thieves

Alice was contacted by the presenter of the TV show that talked of Dreamland. Life in Dreamland was a show that many people liked since it was a good way to know what the big guilds did and everything they did but also could learn about skills that were useful and those who were not. The show wanted to provide information about the riot that was happening and Alice seemed a perfect fit for the job of explaining the situation. Unluckily she was there to help Ace in case of a problem but if she was asked by the TV, she literally had to answer to not seem part of the heist. So the presenter of the TV show talked to Alice with a camera setting of the menu that was connected to the TV show studio. The presenter was Roger Davison, a tall man with short spiky black hair, brown skin, a trained body and an leather armor that gave him enough speed to run away from the city in 6 seconds.
-Davison: Hello, dear guests! I am Mr Davison and here we are in the riot! With us, a player that is in the riot! Alice!
-Alice: H… Hi.
-Davison: Nervous are we?
-Alice: Yeah.
-Davison: Be easy, I do not bite yet.
-Alice: (laughs)
-Davison: Well, let us start with the interview. Why there is a riot against Blue Hand?
-Alice: They scammed people! And they are still doing it! This has to stop! Many people have been in trouble for a while because of them! But now their time is over and they will be punished!
-Davison: Ho! We ignited her! But I think that they will be alright.
-Alice: What do you mean?
-Davison: They are in league with True Gold. By what the rumours say.
-Alice: “Then we are in deep mess! Dammit Ace! Your luck is worse than your attempts at flirting!” It can't be true. Why True Gold would be with them?
-Davison: Because they can give an outcome of 800000 gold per day.
Then the riot started and people started shouting at Blue Hand members that were going inside.

Mike-Oscar saw the chance. He could either shoot the presenter or to one of the rioters. He chose the second option. A bolt hit the chest of a rioter who fell to the ground because the attack killed him. The presenter was surprised and saw the chance.
-Davison: Here we are attacked! I repeat, we are attacked!
-Alice: After stealing newbies money they are going to kill us!? What are we waiting for!?
Then Darren got out flying and Ace in his demon lord mode went after him. Every one saw Ace in Demon Lord Mode and started to be scared. Ace grabbed Darren and stabbed him in the chest and waited for Darren to die slowly. After Darren was killed, Ace took out a giant bag of gold and started giving to the rioters money. Exactly what they had been scammed. Davison looked surprised and tried to talk with Ace.
-Davison: Here Roger Davison! You must be the thief who gave us the information about this riot?
-Ace: Obviously. I and my team decided to do this heist for all those who were scammed. And look here how many players were scammed. I am recovering what they lost. And allow me to say something to the big guilds. All of you, high and mighty do not even bother in helping people. Only a medium guild called Diamond Wolfves helped! Shame on you! And to True Gold: Do you want to kick my ass? Come and get me! We still have some of your famous wine! And those golden statues that you paid here. Because Blue Hand would not be able to have them hidden.
Then all the members of the team that Ace had prepared unless Harlequin went at his side smiling and nodded but Ace was a bit confused but smiled.
-Shadow Smile Thieves: Who do you think we are!? We are the Shadow Smile Thieves!
Then countless players with golden armors surrounded the Shadow Smile Thieves and Umbra walked just in front of Ace.
-Umbra: You truly are stupid. Picking a fight against us is picking it with the best trading guild of Dreamland. And that is picking a fight with almost all of the top players in the world. Now the statues, please!
-Ace: Ain’t you a sly fox! You waited for us to go together! But if I know something is that I am safe.
-Umbra: You can't take on all of this army.
-Ace: Not me. But yes the ones that are coming.
A giant blue portal appeared in the feet of the rioters and all fell to the portal which threw them out of Bradtiel but from that portal there was two persons who came out.

One was a tall man with a pitch black armor that covered all his body with many purple orbs and used a red and black sword and the other was a tall woman with long purple hair, big eyelashes, black eyes and a slender figure that made all the men look at her and was wearing a black tight robe with countless runes, a pair of heels and a black book with a blue gem in the cover.
-Ace: Finally you dropped the trap?
-Female: Of course! I wanted you to be a target of all the males envy, young boy.
-Ace: Of course, Cheng. And you brought Zero sensei!
-Zero: Of course she brought me. Or pushed me better said. I hate portals after all!
-Cheng: Crybaby.
-Ace: Cheng. Remember one thing. Everyone is trying to comprehend how you can be a woman now.
-Cheng: Good old Facade. But you know that in real life I am a woman. After all I helped you to study. (Giggles)
Ace and Zero look at Cheng and wanted to kill her. But Zero remembered that Umbra was in his way.
-Zero: Who is the leader of this small squad?
-Umbra: I am an executive of True Gold…
Zero cut in half Umbra and sheathed his blade quickly. No one could even see the cut.
-Zero: You are already dead.
Umbra’s body was cut in half and the two halves of the body disappeared quickly. All the army that was with Umbra ran away because they knew that they would die if they did not run away.
Zero looked at Alice and then looked at Ace. He noticed that Ace was a bit worried.
-Zero: Still the same kind brat. Heh. Stubborn as your father. A good combination for an idiot. But I like that attitude after all.
Zero entered into the warehouse. Ace had finally finished his plan. Now Zero would find the proof of the scamming and would end with Blue Hand.
