Struggling to schedule a time to spend with my best friend. With her super busy schedule with work (which takes a lot of her time most of the week) unsure how she spends her weekends (unsure if she works weekends or not. as per her text stating: "Tbh sleepovers are hard to manage as I'm so busy. But we will definitely hang out soon! Don't worry!"
I honestly don't know what to do here with this. I know me and Courtney are at the beginning stage in our lives where we don't see each other as often and don't text much as we used to, becoming more mature and growing up, creating a life for ourselves and all. But I'm unsure of what to do here.
I'm really missing her, though she did tell me "Got an on call job with community living north Halton " which is in Georgetown where I live currently. And with Emily being busy working most night after school, (to save up for college starting in September: at Georgian in Barrie), I find it hard to spend any time with either my sister and my best friend.
I've tried to plan a day after school to go to the gym to work out together and then a yoga class together but that got cancelled due to another shift for her part time job at Walmart. And with Courtney, we still haven't yet celebrated our friendversary of 15 years (best friends forever!) neither have we even talked seriously about coming up with ideas to celebrate it.
And we also haven't been able to have much sleepovers (more wanting her to sleepover at my parents house real soon but unsure if that is all that accurate or believable to hope for.
I need your help Happiers! I don't know how to cope better than I currently am with these changes in my friendship with my best friend and finding time to spend with my sister before she goes off to college in Barrie! What's your advice, tips, thoughts, insights on this here?
