I couldn't believe it.

I never thought this would happen.

How?

How did we get ..

LOST?!

*Flashback to an hour ago*

"Fuck!" Stu suddenly shouts. I give Murray a look. He notices and walks up to Stu.

"What is it?" He asks him, but Stu shakes his head, violently.

"No! We must try the other way. C'mon, it's just down this way." He then runs past a bush and we lose sight of him.

"Stu??!" We all shouted at the same time.

"Oh my God, where did he go???" I shout.

"I'm not sure." Murray whispers, then looks around.

"Stuart! Get back here, now! We can't see you, we can barely watch where we're stepping, or did you forgET???!" Harry shouts, kicking a tree stump.

"Mate, calm down. He probably didn't go far." Pass steps in, nodding at me with hopeful eyes. I watched for Harry's reaction.

"How do we know that for sure?" He asked, sitting down on the ground, then sighed. "You know what, this iS ALL EXAMPLE'S FAULT!!"

"What???" Example's eyes widen. "MY fault??" He laughs.

"Oh, well I'm gLAD YOU HAVE EARS! YES, that's what I said!"

"How in the fuck is this my fault??"

"OH, you don't know? YOU'RE the one who wanted to stay longer! YOU said it would be fun and we need a break from all this damn stress, which now looks like, YOU'RE just adding onto it!"

"Okay, you know what? That is enough. This is really no one's fault. If Stu did go far, I'm sure he'll be fine. He's a big guy, he'll probably find the tents before we do. Our job, is to get each other back, safely. That doesn't mean to blame our teammates." Patrick shakes his head and steps in front of us all, but stares at Harry when he got to the blaming part.

I didn't know what to think. All that floated in my mind was that it was cold and dark and what if there are bears.

"Charlie?" I felt someone touch my shoulder and when I looked up, it was Murray. He looked at me with worry in his eyes, again, it was still strange to see him like that.

"Yeah?" I ask, looking down at my shoes.

"Pat was asking if you were okay." He tells me, then my eyes widen and I look over at Patrick.

Oh great, did I look like an idiot while I was daydreaming? I probably didn't blink for a good solid minute!

Patrick's soothing voice distracts me from my thoughts. "You were just looking a little shaky, I wanted to make sure you were fine."
