Chapter 30

"Let me go!!!" I screamed as loud as I could, punching the arm that had a tight hold onto me.

"Charlie, shh! It's just me!" I heard a raspy whisper.

My eyes widened.

It was Stu.

"STU?!" I shouted excitedly and wrapped my arms around him. "Oh, my God! You're alive! You're alive!" I squealed and jumped onto him.

"What? Of course I'm alive!" He laughed.

"Have you been here this entire time?" I asked as I climbed off of him.

"Yes," Stu answers. "In the daytime, I tried following a path, but nothing looked familiar. It sucked. I also got very nervous because I saw a cop snooping around, so I stayed low."

"Really?? Another one?" I gasp.

"What do you mean 'another one'?"

"Uh, there was one I think yesterday. He attacked us-"

"OH!" Stu interrupts me. "Did he have short brown hair?"

I nod, but then I realized he couldn't see my face, so I said loudly, "Yeah."

"That was the same one! I saw him yesterday! I didn't want to follow him. I hate pigs!"

I smiled. "Now I do, too. He almost tazed the life out of me."

I feel Stu gently grab onto my hand. "He did what? Oh Lord, are you alright?"

I nodded again. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine, now. Thank you."

Suddenly we both hear loud, distant shouting. They were calling out my name.

"Charliee!" That was Pass!

"Charlie!? Where are you?" That one was Harry.

"Ohh, Charles! Where are ya hiding??" That was Example. Suddenly we see bright flashlights and not a minute later, one was shined onto my face.

"Ooo! I found her! Guuuys!! Someone tell Ed to stop his crying." Example grinned and walked towards me with the Harry and Murray behind him. Pass turned around, volunteering to tell Ed.

"Glad we found you." Murray smiled at me and I blushed.

Example furrowed his eyebrows. "WE?! I found her, ya old rag! Stop tryin' to take my credit!"

I couldn't help but laugh at Example's silliness. He was the one always causing trouble with the guys, but I had to admit that it was very adorable.

"Whatever." Murray rolled his eyes. "I'm glad that you didn't go far." He looked at me and I blushed, again.

"Yeah! Like that fucker Stuart!" Harry laughs loudly until he accidentally shines his flashlight on Stu's face, not even knowing that he was there.

"aAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Harry squealed like a girl and Murray aggressively pushes him onto the ground, and suddenly he's screaming even more.

"Shut the fuck up!" Murray says through gritted teeth.

Harry stands up and pants like a dog. "oUCH! POISON IVYYY!!!!"

"Will you stop your mouth from all that racket??" Murray seemed frustrated and I knew what he was about to do, so I lightly held back his arm.

"Murray, stop." I gently say and he looked into my eyes, almost lustfully.

No, no. Maybe it was just me..?

I change the subject, smiling. "Look who I found." I step back and place my hand on Stu's shoulder. The guys' jaws all drop at the same time.

"Stu?" Example suddenly grins, slowly walking up to him, then they wrap their arms around each other.

I couldn't help but giggle.

Then everyone was embracing Stu, one by one. He was so happy, he even hugged me twice.

I looked around at all of us smiling, but it felt different and incomplete. I turn around and realize Murray was just standing there, staring at his shoes in confusion. I knew he was in shock.

I slowly walk up to him and smile. "Murray?" He looked at me and I grabbed his hand, slowly bringing him up to Stu.

Stu was having a conversation with Harry, but when he saw me with Murray, he smiled and he knew what to do. He walked up to Murray and placed his hands on Murray's shoulders, saying "I know you've been doing what you're supposed to be doing. You've been doing it with and without me, and I just want to say, I'm very very proud of you, son."

A smile broke onto Murray's lips and he nearly jumped onto Stu. It was so beautiful, my eyes were buckets filled with water, ready to spill any moment.

That was so adorable, my heart couldn't handle it.

Suddenly, I see more flashlights, and when I saw Pass join our lovely circle, I realized that he had left to bring Ed. Surely enough, Ed was not that far behind from him.

His eyes immediately locked with mine and I felt my face getting warm. He smirked, then walked towards Stu and hugged him after Pass had his turn. The two chatted for what left like forever, but finally, they stopped.

Ed looked back at me and I noticed he was walking towards me. I blush, quickly brushing my hair behind my ear with my hand.  I couldn't help but laugh nervously when he approached me. The unthinkable happened next. Ed had suddenly wrapped his arms around my waist and the next thing I know, I'm in the air.

I playfully screamed and then hear his gorgeous laugh. He carefully sets me down and at that moment, I've never felt so in love before. I stared into his mesmerizing eyes until his lips were pressed up against mine. I closed my eyes and realized what I had done wrong.

Running out of the tent at this time of night probably scared the hell out of him.

I felt so awful as I kissed him back. I wanted him to know that I was sorry, but for starters, he should definitely know when we're not around everyone and have more "alone" time.

Ed pulled away and grinned at me, then at everyone else. "Guys, let's go back, now. It's getting pretty chilly."

Oh, my God.

It was like he had read my mind!

He's so mad at me!

He's going to yell at me, I know it!

But wouldn't the guys back me up?

I'm sure they would ... unless they're upset, too. And then they're all going to yell at me!

Oh, no! I'm in real trouble and I'm extremely terrified!!"
