I awake in my garage again. I stare up at the ceiling then sit up to look at which arch I'm in. It's the second! I'm in the opposite arch! I DID IT! As I pump my fist into the air I get a clear shot of my hands. They're masculine... Maybe just my vision is getting weird. I stand up and wobble a bit. Going over to my things to write my studies down, I notice that I'm hovering a little bit higher than before. "I'm going crazy..." I determine. When I'm finished with writing everything down and shutting everything off I can't help but stare at my hands. They're different from before. Way different. My weird hands and I make our way inside. I decide to take a shower to hopefully clearly mind. It's still fuzzy and my head is pounding. "I'll be excited in the morning," I tell myself.
I head into the bathroom and strip. I may no attention to my body until I get into the shower. I scream as I look down and notice... That my boobs are gone. I look even further to notice that something else has changed. I immediately scram out of the shower and stare into the mirror.
I am a boy.
I have no boobs, no vagina.
I am a boy.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON????"
I've officially gone crazy. It's the morning after the shower and I wake up to the same face from last night. "Why the hell am I a dude?" I say as I question my own sanity. Now that I'm getting a closer look at myself I notice that I look a lot like me. Well, Kimberly me. "I wonder if I'm dreaming..." I think to myself.
I wonder around the house making sure everything is right. It seems real because every single thing is exactly where I left it before the experiment. Even my purse, which actually kinda looks like a satchel now. I sit at the kitchen table and immediately stand back up. "Oops. I'm still naked."
After searching for what to wear for 30 minutes(still a girl at heart) I go back into the garage. I take a look at the machine. Everything seems normal. I ponder what could've happened until I get a loud knock on the front door. Opening it up I notice that the person standing there looks really familiar, but I've never seen them before. "Hey Kameron! Mind if I come in?" says the other male outside.
"Uh Kameron?" I ask as I look around, "Who's that?"
"Um, you? Stop playing games and let me come in," he says as he pushes past me. I feel a strange connection with this man, even though I have never seen him before. "So guess who I found at the park this morning?" he asks.
"Um, who?" I also ask, confused beyond belief.
"Leah! She's moving here apparently! She come up to me and started talking about how she's gonna be in your neighborhood too! Oh wait... Heh she's already talked to you, huh?"
I assume this guy is talking about Liam, but in a female sense. "Uh yeah yeah. I saw him-I mean, her at the store yesterday before work."
"Yeah. She told me that too," he says as he sits on the couch. I think up names of people back at home and come up with Lilly. This must be Lilly's male counterpart! If Liam has one then maybe we all do. Wait... Is this... a different dimension?
"OH MY GOSH! IT IS!" I scream.
"Um, what it Kam?"
I pause and turn towards him. "Er, nothing... Landon?"
"Uhh huhh. Yeah okay." I got it right. Lilly did tell me that her parents would name her Landon if she was a boy. "So I asked Michelle if it's okay if all three of us-You, me, and Leah-go out for drinks on our next day off. She said yeah, but I had to ask cause, ya know, pregnant people," he says the last part with a chuckle, "You up for it?" I guess Michael is now Michelle? And Michelle is the one pregnant? I'm gonna NEED some drinks by next off day. "Yeah sure. I'm up for it. What about Lia-Leah?"
"I got her number and she'll text when she finds out. Oh yeah, you gotta go by her house today right? She told me about that."
"Oh. I don't have her new address though."
"Dude, just text her. She gave you her number right?"
I find my phone and ask for her address. She gives it to me and I also tell Landon, for future purposes.
"Don't you need to be with Michelle right now?"
"Hm? Oh, she's out with some friends right now."
"Oh okay..."
We "talk" for a bit. I put talk in parentheses because it's mostly me listening out for any names. We soon both leave the house and I head over to Leah's. This is going to be very difficult to deal with.
