First Love [Luke Hemmings]

Chp 1

"Anne! time to get up!!"

"Okay mom!"

I try to get up but my bed covers are calling me back to slumber. I just want to sleep the whole day, I'm not ready for another day of school.

"Anne I told you to get up already" I was so into my nap I didn't notice my mom coming into my room. "nice day isn't it?" she asks as she opens my curtains.

"Mom you suck! I never wake you up like this" I tell her as I hide under my pillow "where is Isaac?"

"She left to work at 5, now get up!"

"Ughhh"

Once I get up I notice that my sisters bed is perfectly made; she never leaves the house without making her bed first. I head towards the restroom &get ready for a shower.

A few minutes later

"Mom I'm gonna go out later with Jewels okay" I tell her as a grab an apple from the fruit basket.

"Okay but don't stay out that late okay?"

"Don't worry mom" i tell as I grab my keys &rush out.

I park at my usual spot on school &walk towards the entrance. I start walking towards my locker & I notice that Jewels was already there waiting for me.

"Hey Jewels!" I scare her as I slam my hand on my locker.

"Eat shit Anne!" she flinches.

"You are here early" I tell her as I open my locker. ugh I have a huge mess I can't find my book "did we have...wait! you are never here early!?"

"I know but look!" she literally slams her phone against my face I loose my visions for a good while.

"What am I looking at?"

"Read the tx you retard!"

"Julie, your cousin is starting school tomorrow. can you help him around?" I mumble to myself

"Oh what cousin?" I hear his voice.

I turn around to see Luis standing behind me. "hey Luis" I smile at him, Hey Anne" he smiles back showing his perfect straight teeth. we stare at each other for a few seconds till Julie interrupts us.

"My cousin from Australia" she blurts out "he just moved her a few days ago"

"Australia? that's cool" Luis says looking away from me "um I have to go to class early, I'll see you Anne"

"Bye Luis" i stare at him till he disappears in the hallway.

"Anne you still like him huh!?" Julie says while she is txing.

"Ugh Jewels what happened happened okay" I go back to my locker looking for my book "we are just friends now... best friends in his words"

"Ugh Anne! that ne- oh hey!"

I don't really like talking about Luis to her because she makes me feel like I was the bad guy, I wasn't the bad guy I was stupid.

"Hey Anne this is my cousin"

I finally find my book &close my locker & I see a tall figure next to Julie. He was wearing black vans, black skinnys with a hole on his right knee, a red shirt with a jacket on top. He had blonde hair &his eyes were blue like the ocean. he was breath taking.

"Hey I'm Luke" he says as he stares at the ground.

"Anne" I smile at him as I extend my arm to shake his hand. He stares at me with a confused look but then extends his arm as well.

"Sorry Luke but Anne is weird in some way" Julie tells him as she reads his schedule "Ohh look we have almost the same schedule" she smiles at him "&you have Anne for choir"

"You have choir?" I gave him a weird look.

"Um yeah, their weren't any other electives open" he said as he kept starring at the ground.

"Um okay, well I think we should get going so we won't get there late" I tell him "I'll see you in lunch Jewels" I start walking towards the exit but I noticed that Luke wasn't behind me.

I turn around & I see Luke starring at the ground again "Um Luke you coming?" I ask him.

"Yeah" he says as he walks towards me.
