Luke's POV

"....&& beautiful"

Anne sounded perfect as she finished singing with Luis. she looked beautiful in that black dress with grey &purple stripes.

"She was amazing" Calum whispered.

"I know right" I smiled at him as put my guitar down "she was perfect"

"Anne" I called her as I grabbed her hand. She turned to face me & honestly, she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Ever since she was diagnosed with her brain tumor she has started to change. Her smooth face now had acne &acne scars making her look more beautiful & she started to gain some weight but she still look perfect to me. her heart shaped lips are now chapped &even with Chapstick they look rough; giving me an excuse to kiss her whenever I wanted.

"You were amazing" i told her as I have her a quick peck on the lips

"Luke not here!" she giggled

"I love your laugh" I told her as I gave her another peck

"Luke I'm serious" she gave me a serious stare but knowing her she would laugh in..

"Hahaha" she starts laughing.

"I didn't even count till 1 &you laughed" I gave her a smile as I examined her. She was leaning against my guitar stand playing with the strings, her hair falling onto her shoulder in perfect placement.

"Calum can you give me a water please?" she made me loose my train of thought as I saw Calum passing her a water.

"Luke your up next" he told me as he pat my shoulder walking to the other side of the auditorium.

"Ohh what song is it Luke?" Anne jumped happily as I grabbed my guitar

"Listen to it" I whispered into her ear then gave her a quick peck on the cheek "I'll see you in a few" I winked at her as she made her way towards her seat.

"Hey Luis, good luck" I saw Anne give Luis a quick hug as she was leaving.

"Luis you ready mate?" I asked him as I got my guitar ready.

"Actually Luke, I'm not going to sing with you"

"What? why?"

What does he mean?

"Luke this song is about loving a person &i love Anne but as a friend/sister &you love her more then that. if I sang it no lie it would be awkward; you singing it will show her &everyone that you will love her till the end.... &the end can be near"

Luis was right. if I sang this song it will show how much I love Anne &how much she means to me &if he sang some if it then it would be awkward cause she doesn't like him that way anymore.

"What are you going to tell Mr.?" I looked at our teacher who was talking to Calum &the boys.

"I told him that I rather take the fail then sing in front of everyone &make a fool of myself" he laughed "I'll make if up during summer break, it's just an elective" he smiled.

"What are you going to tell Anne?" I asked while I looked at Anne. she was laughing with Luis #2 &watching some stuff on his ipod. he probably got someone to record them so they might be seeing their video, but who knows!

"That I didn't want to make a fool of myself but she won't believe me" he said while looking at her "has she played the guitar for you?" he looked at me concerned

"Nope" I looked up at him then at Anne "she hasn't even mentioned that she knows how to play" I said as I started fixing my chords to the rhythm of the song I was going to sing "why won't she?" I whispered.

"She will Luke, when it's time.."

"Alright Luke" Mr. clapped his hands together making me &Luis focus on him "since your partner decided not to sing with you are you ready?"

"Yeah. I'm ready" I told him as I stood up &put on my guitar strap.

"Okay then, good luck" Mr. patted my back "&Luis go sit"

"Yeah Mr." Luis rolled his eyes as he started walking towards the seats "&&Luke" he said as he turned around to see me "when she plays for you, cherish it. it might be her last time"

"Luke you ready?" Calum interrupted my thoughts

"Yeah I am"

I walked to the center of the stage &focused on Anne who was smiling her big smile that I haven't seen in a while.

"Ready you guys?" I turned around to see the boys &they nod saying that they are ready "1...2...3..."
