First Love [Luke Hemmings]

Chp 3

It's been 2 weeks since Luke started school &Im glad he did. The project went great! He was excused from it because he was new &all so it's like whatever's, but we have been txing ever since that day at the park.

"Anne it's time to get up sweetie" I hear my mom under my covers but I can't bare to see her. My head is killing me.

"Mom my head hurts really bad"

"Anne you have been saying that for the past week, I know you don't like Mondays but that doesn't mean you can skip them" I feel her tugging on my covers "now get up"

"Mom I'm serious, I didn't even sleep right cause it's just killing me" I mumbled under my pillow.

"Anne get up! I worked the night shift & I have class till 3 so I would like to get some sleep!" my sister practically screamed at me.

"Anne you have 20min" my mom said as she left.

"Ugh shit"

"Anne get up!" Isaac screamed at me.

Before I was able to say anything the pain was to much that I threw up next to my bed.

"Shit"

"Oh my god eww, I'm gonna get mom" my sister ran out the room like if the devil was chasing her. I don't blame her it's pretty freaking nasty.

"Anne are you faking- Anne are you okay?!" She rushes over to my side.

"Yeah mom I'm pretty sure that fake puke will come out right away" I tell her sarcastically as I smiled.

"Anne your eyes are red, &your eye lids are swollen, hunny you are burning up" she tells me as she removes her hand from my now sweaty forehead "get ready okay, we are going to the doctors"

2 Days Later

"Anne where have you been? I've tried Txing you but you haven't answered" Jewels tell me as I approach my locker

"I had a massive headache &the doctor thinks that it's because I use my phone to much so my mom took it away till my headaches go away" I tell her as I slowly open my locker, lately I've been sensitive to sound that it makes my head explode.

"Hey Anne" I heard Luis from behind me.

"Hey Luis" I gave him a little smile as I start looking for Luke.

"Are you going to practice today? I haven't seen you since Monday"

"Yeah, I'll be there" I smile at him "hey Luke" I saw a tall figure approaching Julie which I knew it was Luke.

"Hey your here" he smiled at, I noticed something shiny on his bottom lip, it's to shiny to be spit.

"Well I guess I'll see you later then"

"Okay bye Luis"

Ever since I started talking to Luke I've been forgetting about Luis. Luke doesn't know what happened between me &Luis but I don't think it's important because it's in the past, right?

"So Anne I was wondering if you wanted to come over today?" Luke asked as I was getting my book out.

"Ohh like a date??" Julie asked with her eyes almost coming out of her sockets.

"Ugh no" I noticed Luke blushed a little as he stared at the ground "to go over our choir assignment"

"Yeah I would love too" I tell Luke. Good thing I'm kinda dark skinned because you won't notice me blushing.

Luke's POV

"So Luke what was our assignment?" I see Anne sitting on my couch.

"Oh yeah um well it's a solo assignment" I pull out the notes from my folder "you have to sing a song about something or someone" I look up to see her but I noticed that she has her eyes closed &laying her head against the arm rest "heartache, love, umm food"

I heard a little chuckle come from her but when she wanted to laugh more she squinted her eyes like if she was in pain.

"Um if you want you can go home?" I suggested, but I didn't want her to leave.

"Oh no I'm sorry Luke, it's because I'm having really bad headaches lately" she gets up from the couch chair "can I get some water?"

"Yeah go ahead"

I see her walking towards the kitchen but then I remembered that it's my house, I'm suppose to give her the water instead of her asking to get it herself! Im such a bad host.

"What are you going to sing about?" Anne asks me when she comes back to her seat.

"Um well I wrote some songs so I think I'm gonna choose between them, you?"

"You write songs?" she asks as she takes a sip from her water

"Yeah but I don't finish them"

"Can I hear?"

"What are you going to sing?" I ask her completely ignoring the question.

"About heartache"

"Is it about that Luis kid?" I blurted out

"How do you know? Did Julie tell you??" she has that concerned look.

"Um no but it's kinda obvious. the way you 2 look at each other &the way he always talks to you... &he told me that you guys had a thing"

"Ugh dumb ass" she takes another sip from her water "not you though!" she laughs "is that a piercing on your lip?"

Finally she notices.

"Yeah got it done on Sunday, you barley noticed?"

"I noticed in the morning but I didn't want to seem like I'm always starring at you or something.."

"It's fine with me, I'm always starring at you so.." shit did I just say that?!

I noticed she smiled a little then looked at the ground.

"What have you noticed so far?"

That wasn't the question I thought she was gonna ask, but I'm glad she did.

Anne's POV

I'm surprised I asked that, but I wanted to know why he stares at me too

"I notice that you alway wear your hair down but then put it in a bun, you always wear your ring with the purple rhinestone so I'm guessing it's your favorite color"

He points at my ring

"You bite your bottom lip when you are nervous, like how you are doing now"

Crap

"Even though you had a bad headache today you still manage to smile &laugh. I can tell that you are in pain right now"

"How?"

"Your eyes are never red or swollen"

"Why do you stare at me?" I finally blurted out.

"Isn't obvious?"

I was able to feel his blue eyes on me, I look up to look at him. I let his eyes meet mine &he made me forget about everything.
