First Love [Luke Hemmings]

Chp 4

I walk towards our table for lunch seeing that Julie was already there eating her lunch. I noticed Luke wasn't there. it's been 3 days since our little talk at his house &we are kinda close. He walks me to my classes even if we don't have the same one, I got my phone back now so we talk &tx each other so much it's annoying sometimes.

"You finally get your phone back &instead of txing your best friend first you tx Luke" she sounded mad

"We see each other all the time &visit each other, I didn't think it would be a big deal" I laugh

"Still! I like annoying you" she laughs

"where is Luke anyway?" I ask her as I look for him

"He is friends with Ashton, Calum, &Michael from my Marine Biology class so he went to lunch with them today"

"Ugh I'm having that dam headache again" I whine. This headache comes &goes but it always gets worse.

"You really need to check that out Anne"

"Ugh it's fine, it's probably the weather or something" I tell her as I massage my temple hoping that calms it down.

"Anne heads up Luis is coming"

Shit.

"Julie can I talk to Anne in private please?" he asks her as he sits next to me. I look at Julie with my 'NO' face but she ignores me.

"Um yeah sure, I have to go to study anyway" she lies as she gets up

"You don't study you dumb ass!" I scream at her.

"I do now!" she says sticking her tongue out &then leaves.

"Why are you ignoring me Anne?" was the first thing that Luis asked me.

"I'm not ignoring you Luis, it's just that after what happened I wasn't sure what we were..... or are"

"Well we are still friends or best friends"

"That's what you said when you were with Monica &you also said that I was the one for you, but I'm pretty sure you told Monica that too"

"Anne you were the one for me. I cared more about you then I cared for Monica &when you left me I was heart broken"

"If I was the one for you then why didn't you leave her for me?"

"I've been with her for almost a year, I couldn't just dump her. I knew she was going to break up with me soon because sometimes I would confuse her name with yours"

"Luis that doesn't mean anything" I look at him "I thought I loved you but I was a fool thinking that you would leave her for me. when you came back after those 2 months I thought I was going to be obsessing with the fact that I was still going to be kissing you behind the curtains &flirting with you from across the studio but when I saw you I felt happy &happy as in 'yay my friend is back' not my lover, but when I see you &you kiss me on my cheek, &hold my hand I don't know what to think of"

"I still love Anne, that's why I'm like that with you. I want you back..."

"But I don't.."

"What do you mean?"

"I love you but as a friend only" I put my hand on his cheek "you cheated on your girlfriend with me, how would I know that you won't do the same?"

He looked at me &stood quiet.

"Exactly Luis"

I cupped his face &made him look at me

"We could still be friend right?" he asked me as he looked at me

"Best friends even" I smile at him. I brought him closer to me &i kissed his lips for the last time. I pulled back &realize that I didn't feel anything. my feelings for him have gone.

"Now get out of here! I have a headache &you are making it worse" I tell him as I let go of his face. he smiles at me &i smile back.

Isaacs POV

"Anne you have been sleeping since you got home, get up &do something!"

"Isa I have a massive headache &it won't go away! leave me alone" I see Anne hiding herself under her pillow.

"Fine then, I guess I'll tell Luke to leave" I tell her as I leave the room.

"3...2.."

I count to myself.

"Luke Is here!"

I go back to my room &i see that she got up to a sitting position.

"Yeah downstairs" I lied

She was about to get out of bed but once she stood up she sat back down.

"Ugh tell him I'll see him tomorrow, yeah? I'm not feeling well"

She looks dead just laying their.

Hours later

"Ugh"

I woke up to hearing the shifts of Anne moving from her bed. I look at my phone &i read 3:30am.

"Ugh"

I try to go back to bed but I keep hearing Anne moving &grunting. all of a sudden I feel this sharp pain from my head going to my stomach. As I get up from my bed I notice Anne doing the same but once my pain went away I see Anne throwing up on the side of her bed again.

"Anne are you alright?!"

I jump off my bed &i go comfort her. I noticed her bed is wet from all her sweat, I turned on the light &i see her very pale.

"Anne? what's wrong?"

"Ugh my head -" Was all she managed to get out before she threw up again "is killing me" she said threw her sobs.

"It's okay" I tell her as I rub her back "MOM GET IN HERE NOW!" I screamed, I didn't want to leave Anne alone.

"What's wro- Isaac what happened!" she looked half asleep but once she saw that Anne was pale &sweaty she woke right up.

"She said that her head is killing her mom"

"Move sweety please" she tells me "it's that headache again Anne?"

Anne just nodded. she looked so scarred.

"Isaac come put some towels on the floor &get your sisters jacket" she signaled me "we are going to the hospital okay" she told Anne.

She was to weak to walk. she was to scarred to talk. what could of caused this?
