"Why did you do it?!"
Lance punched the walls over and over, furious tears streaming down his face. He didn't care about the blood rushing from his knuckles.
"Keith! Why?!", the young boy screamed at the wall.
The bedroom was empty.
The entire house was.
The furniture. His best friend.
All gone.
"You lied!"
He collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed in his own tears and agonizing emotions.
"You l-lied", he sobbed into his knees.
The dim moonlight streamed through the dusty curtains, illuminating the heartbroken child.
"We w-were supposed to be t-together f-f-forever, Keith... Why did you lie to me? WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?!"
