"You're almost a grown man, yet you still play with a yoyo", Nyma teased.
Her girlfriend Shay, a tall light skinned girl with wide eyes and a brown pixiecut, nudged her in the side.
"Don't be so mean", she scolded lightly.
Haxus looked at the wide moon above the group of fosters.
It was so bright.

He immediately smiled at himself.
If Lotor had heard his thoughts, he would've denied them instantly.
"You mean our future, right?", he would say, "Because I can't imagine a future for you unless I'm in it."
"Gay thoughts seem to have caught up with Asher", Rolo snickered, "He's got the thousand yard stare into the stars."
Haxus rolled his eyes.
"Hey, you can admit it though. I'm forever alone."
"Nobody wants to date a man with a yoyo."
"Nobody asked for your opinion, Nyma."
"Well nobody-"
There was a blinding light.
Brighter than the moon.
An bone-freezing thud.
The screeching of tires.
And Shay's blood curdling screams.
