Mason was at my house, since my dad was out of town again.
We didn't realize the amount of work we still needed to do. We only had five days left to finish the project and we were nowhere near being done. We had been working on it since school ended, but by now it was already ten pm. Mason decided he would just sleep over at my house, so we could work on it longer. Our relationship definitely has changed. I can now say that we're friends, the friends that bicker most of the time, but still good friends.

"Hey Mase?"

He looked up at me, dropping his pencil on the table.
"Yeah?"

"Could you please make me some coffee? If I have to sit here till midnight, I need some caffeine to keep me awake."

"Uhm, yeah, I guess I can try." He stood up hesitantly.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, I'll be right back."

"Okay, thanks Mase."

He nodded and walked out of the room. I continued on with my presentation about Mason. I only had some basic facts about him, but they didn't really describe his true self. Photos were missing too. I asked him to send me some pictures of him, but the idiot only send me shirtless pictures of himself.

I grabbed my camera and creeped down the stairs. I looked around the corner to see Mason grabbing a mug. I shot the picture and hid myself behind the wall. Candid shots are the best kind of shots.

Suddenly it was quiet, too quiet.
I carefully looked around the corner, Mason was staring at the coffee machine in concentration. His eyebrows were scrunched together, he was biting his lip and with his right hand he was brushing through his hair. It was the perfect shot.

I took a couple more pictures before going back upstairs. I uploaded them to my computer and looked at my masterpieces. I smiled in triumph, I finally have some good pictures. I believe that people are the most beautiful, when they're not trying to be. I love those real and raw moments. That's when you fully get to see and know them.

After 20 minutes Mason still hadn't returned with my coffee.
"Mason! Why is it taking you so long? Do you need any help?" I yelled out.

I heard loud footsteps ascending the stairs. Mason's hair came into my view and slowly the rest of his body did too.

"Here is your coffee."
He handed the coffee mug to me, not looking me in the eyes.

I eyed the mug warily, but took it anyways.

"Thank you."

The mug felt strangely light. I looked inside the mug, "Why is it empty?"

Mason blushed, still not looking me in the eyes. "I actually don't know how to make coffee...but it's the thought that counts, right?"

I chuckled at him. "You're such a dork. Come on, I'll teach you how to make coffee."

I grabbed his hand and dragged him down the stairs, into the kitchen. I dropped his hand and looked at what he did in the kitchen, which was absolutely nothing.
I chuckled to myself, he didn't even know how to turn the coffee machine on.
I opened the drawer under me and grabbed a golden cup.

"Alright, so this is what you do. First you turn the machine on with the button on the side. Then you check if there is enough water in it."
I added a bit of water to the machine, just to be sure.

"Now, you open this lever. Drop the cup in the cup shaped hole, close the lever and push the start button."
It was a fairly easy machine.
"Et voilà!"

He smiled, "I'm going to add professional coffee maker to the list of your greatest accomplishments."

"You have a list of my greatest accomplishments? What did you put on there?"

He pretended to think, tapping with his finger on his chin.
He shot me a mischievous smirk. I sighed internally, here we go again.
I totally set myself up for this one.

"Making me fall in love with you."
