Demi's POV

"Throw a pillow at me again and watch what happens," I said and Alexis laughed.

"Whoa," She smiled slyly, "is that a threat?"

Alexis picked up Alyson's pillow.

"Hey, if she rips that apart you're buying me a new one," Aly said but made no attempt to stop her.

I was about to say something when a pillow hit me from behind. I squeaked in surprise and everyone bursted out in laughter. I turned around to find Dani laughing the hardest.

"Traitor," I said and narrowed my eyes at her. I stood up and stared at her. She stopped laughing and looked at me, smirking. Then I grabbed the pillow and tackled her down on the bed. I straddled her waist then hit her in the face with the pillow, hard but not too hard. She squealed and everyone started laughing again and broke out into a pillow fight.

Dani managed to get a hold on the pillow and take it from me. She smirked and I quickly got off her.

I tried to run to the bathroom but arms wrapped around me and kept me back.

I laughed and tried to get out of Dani's grip. She wasn't letting go.

"Let go," I squealed and started struggling.

"Never," Dani said, laughing.

"Hey, Smurfette, catch," Samantha shouted and a pillow flew at my face.

Dani laughed harder as pillows flew at me from all directions.

"Really funny guys," I said sarcastically. "Team up on me. Nice."

Everybody was on the ground laughing and pillows were all over the place.

Dani's grip loosened but she didn't let go. I realized that I didn't really want her to. For some reason, her arms around me offered a kind of comfort and I liked it. I liked it so much that it scared me.

"Food's here," Mary called and opened the door. Sam, Alexis, Alyson, and Laina all rushed to the door. Dani stayed there. She sighed and placed her chin on my shoulder. My arms rested on hers and I smiled.

"Oh," she pulled back and removed her arms quickly. "I'm, um, sorry."

I tried not to show my disappointment.

"It's totally fine," I turned around and smiled.

Ugh, what was going on with me? It felt like I was getting a crush on her.

"Let's eat," I said and clapped my hands when they brought the food cart in. We ordered a bunch of desserts; cake, ice cream, milkshakes, and so much more.

I grabbed a milkshake and some cake and sat cross legged on the bed.

"These cookies are so amazing," Mary said and everyone muttered agreement.

"Demi, you were right this is amazing," Alyson said, swallowing a bite of an éclair. I smiled at her then looked at Dani. She was sitting on the other bed, playing on her phone.

I swallowed a bite of cake and watched her. She barely ate anything today, Alyson basically forced her to eat the chips and anytime we mentioned food she seemed uncomfortable. I finally came to an answer about why and that answer scared me more than anything.

I set my food on the bedside table, got up and tapped her on the thigh. She looked up and me.

"I have to talk to you," I said. She could tell I was serious because she didn't refuse. I grabbed her hand and took her outside the room.
