Dani's POV
A bag of trail mix, a granola bar, and some chips were tossed onto my lap. I stopped texting Alyson and looked up at Demi.
"What's this for?" I asked.
"You haven't eaten today," she answered and set down two cups of hot chocolate on the coffee table.
I was sitting on the couch in Demi's little trailer thing at the park she was performing at, which is where I've been for the majority of the day. Demi had suggested for me to stay at the hotel but I needed to get out. Demi and I hadn't been alone together all day, I had barely even seen her, and I took that chance to eat as less as I could. Guess she still noticed.
I put my phone down and placed the snacks on the table next to the cups. I grabbed hot chocolate, took a sip and closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth that slid down my throat.
"Good?" Demi asked and I opened my eyes to see her smiling at me. I nodded and patted the couch next to me. She sat down and I wrapped my arms around her.
"I haven't seen you all day," I said and kissed the top of her head.
"I'm sorry, baby, there's just so many people that aren't part of my team around with cameras and-"
"I know, I know," I sighed. "You want to be the one to tell your fans, not the press."
"Hey," Demi pulled away and smiled at me, "that won't be a problem for long. So, I realized that we've been together for this long and I have never once see your Twitter or asked for it."
She really was ready to come out. That made me so happy. I was finally going to be able to be with her in public and act normal, or as normal as we could get. We could go on actual dates, hold hands, kiss, and just be together in public as a couple.
"Whoa, babe, you have a fan account?" Demi's voice broke into my thoughts. While I was thinking, I hadn't realized that she took my phone and went straight to Twitter.
"Hey, give that back!" I tried to snatch my phone away but she quickly got up and moved out of my reach.
"Danielle, these tweets are crazy. 'I want to-' whoa!" Her eyebrows shot up as she read my tweets and I lunged at her but again she moved away. "Oh that's cute. I love you too, baby. Let's see, when was the last time you tweeted? Oh my God, four hours ago?" Demi burst out laughing and I took that chance to grab my phone back. My face burned with embarrassment.
"Shut up," I glared at her as she laughed.
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry," Demi said and calmed down a bit. "But that's hilariously cute. And a bit explicit. Is half of that stuff even possible? The other half, I wouldn't mind trying."
Now it was my turn to laugh. "Oh, whatever." I rolled my eyes and sat back on the couch. "I have a personal twitter. Why do you want to know?"
"What is it?" She asked and pulled out her phone. I told her my username and a few seconds later, Demi was following me. "I'll post a picture of us after I come out and tag you in it."
"Aren't you all about privacy and not being public about your personal life?" I questioned and Demi just shrugged.
"I don't want to keep something this big a secret."
I nodded. "Makes sense."
"Now," Demi sat next to me and handed me the granola bar, "eat please. It's not much so we'll go out to eat when I finish with soundcheck."
"Have you eaten?" I opened the wrapping and took a bite.
"No, not really."
I thrust the bar in her face and she rolled her eyes and took a bite. Demi reached for her hot chocolate and took a big gulp. After she put her cup down, I smiled. There was hot chocolate at the top of her upper lip.
