Dani's POV
I let out a loud frustrated groan as I struggled to zip up the suitcase. I'd been at this for almost ten minutes and had no luck in getting it closed.
"You have everything packed right?" Demi asked me. It was the 29th and we were about to leave to go to the airport and catch our flight to Canada.
"Why do you have so much shit?"
"I had to add my workout stuff and all. It's really not a lot."
I glared back at her sitting on the arm rest of the couch. "How about you get off your ass and come help me instead of just sitting there and watching me try to get this fucker zipped."
Demi raised her eyebrow. "Well someone is PMSing."
I shot daggers at her and she held her hands up and walked over to me. Instead of kneeling beside me, she sat on the suitcase. I rolled my eyes.
"Not helping," I grumbled.
"Try closing it now."
I groaned and tugged at the zipper. After a few pulls, it finally zipped up and Demi smiled triumphantly.
"My butt is more than just your eye candy," she said and I laughed. "Alright so everything is done? You got clothes and whatever else you'll need, I have my makeup, clothes, some books, my workout clothes, and I'm done with my morning workout. Do you want to get some ibuprofen for cramps or are you going to put me through hell the whole flight?"
I shoved Demi and she fell off the bag and onto the floor.
"Through hell it is then," Demi said and stood up.
"That's payback for you shoving me during that stupid UFC fight last night," I told her and she laughed. I learned last night that her family and Marissa took that thing seriously so you don't want to tell them that it's all fake. I now have a bruise on my ass the size of an apple to prove it.
"Alright, kids, come on you're going to be late for your flight," Eddie walked in and smiled at us.
"We're coming," Demi said grabbed her guitar case, pillow, and purse by the door. Then her and Eddie walked out.
"Hey, I am not about to carry these two heavy suitcases and a carry-on on my own, what the hell?" I shouted at them as I picked up the one I had and wheeled it to the other one by the kitchen door. Dianna, who had been at the back door of the house, hurried over.
"I'll help sweetie," she said and grabbed the other one. I flashed her a thankful smile and we walked out. "The women of the household can handle this." Dianna glared at Demi and Eddie, who had turned back around and were watching.
"First of all," Demi commented as we walked by, "she doesn't even live here. Second, last time I checked, I'm a woman too! I'm more woman than Da-!"
I cut her off by saying, "Demi, I can easily shove you into a suitcase if you don't just stop right there."
"I'd like to see you try to close it after that." Demi smirked at me and I glared back. "Oh, right sorry, I keep forgetting what time of month it is."
My face flared up when Eddie and Dianna burst out in laughter. That kind of info about me is not the kind that I like sharing with people, especially my girlfriend's parents.
"Demi, you can just burn my fucking plane ticket to go now," I growled and she laughed.
"You love me."
"So debatable at the moment."
"Alright, that's enough." Eddie rolled his eyes but kept smiling.
