Dani's POV
"Mason, I said I don't want to go," I said and slammed my locker shut.
"I'm not saying you have to drink or smoke. You're fun even when you're sober! Come on, please. I miss going to parties with you." Mason said and made a pouty face.
I rolled my eyes at him and stated walking to my first class. One of the football players was throwing a party tonight and everyone wanted me to go. Especially Mason.
"You do realize, what we used to have was nothing right? I was confused and figuring myself out." I said and he smirked.
"Hey, I totally knew what was going on the whole time. It was just fun for me. But now we're friends and I still love hanging with you." He said and draped his arm over my shoulder.
I narrowed my eyes at him. He wanted something. He was being too persistant and nice. "Ok, what do you want?"
"There's a new girl here and she moved next door to me. She's also a lesbian but she's really shy and I was hoping you could-"
I stopped and looked at him. "You know I'm with Demi," I whispered so people wouldn't hear.
"I'm not saying you have to have sex with her or date her or anything! I just think it'd be good for her to have a friend that she could relate to and you're one of the nicest lesbians I know."
I laughed at that and continued walking. "Ok, fine I'll go. But, I'm not smoking or getting high in any way." Mason smiled and hugged me.
"Thank you Dani," he said and kissed my cheek. "I owe you one!" He walked away and I went to my class.

I was only in my second class and already basically sleeping with my eyes open. After a week of fun and no school, everything was so boring. I tried texting Demi but she told me to focus on class and stopped texting afterwards.
I tried focusing on my math teacher, Mr. Martin, but my eyes started drifting shut.
Suddenly, the door opened and everyone looked. It was a person in a black hoodie. They had the hood up and it was covering their face.
Mr. Martin looked at the person and smiled. "Yes?" He asked.
"I need to take Danielle Perry out. She's leaving early for a doctors appointment." The person said and I looked at Alyson who shrugged. How did they know me?
"And who might you be that is pulling her out?" Mr. Martin asked.
"Family friend," was all they said.
"Um, I don't know you. I've seen these scenarios on crime shows and-"
The person took the hood off and my mouth dropped open.
"Really, Demi?" I asked and she smirked.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your class, sir," Demi turned back to Mr.Martin. "I'm only in town for today and Dani is a very close friend of mine so I'm pulling her out for a ditch day."
"I guess that's ok," He said and she smiled. I grabbed my stuff and walked out with Demi.
"Why did you come here? I told you you need to focus on your work," I said and she shrugged.
"I missed you," Demi replied and I rolled my eyes but smiled.
"How long will you be here for?" I asked, remembering the party tonight.
"Just until 5, that way I can still get some stuff in today."
Good, that left me time to get ready.
