Demi's POV

I woke up when the pilot announced that we were beginning our descent. I snuggled my head deeper into my pillow. That's when I realized it wasnt my pillow. It was Dani's shoulder.

I looked at her and she was smiling at me.

"Shit, I am so sorry," I said as I quickly sat up.

"It's fine, I don't mind. You look cute when you're asleep." Dani said and I raised an eyebrow at her. "Um, sorry," she blushed and looked down.

"Don't be," I said and smiled.

Dani started packed her stuff up and then watched out the window as we started descending.

"Do you like taking off and landing or something? You looked out the window when we were leaving too," I asked and I could see her smiled in her reflection in the window.

"Yeah, I don't know why. When I was little, I used to pretend I was turning into a giant and all other people were just tiny ants." She said and chuckled. "Then, when we started to land, I would think the giant spell was wearing off and everything was normal again."

"That's cute," I said and smiled at her. She didn't respond, just continued looking out the window. I shifted so I could see her face. She looked distant and kind of sad.

"Dani?" I put my hand on her shoulder and she jumped, like I had startled her and turned around.

"Yeah, sorry I just spaced out," she said and smiled. I was still questioning if she was ok but I just figured I was overreacting.

When we landed I felt a pang of sadness. I had no clue why but I was actually really, really sad that I'd be leaving Dani.

"Where are y'all staying?" I asked as we waited for the flight attendants to say we could leave.

"I can't remember." Dani said and looked thoughtful. "Hey, Aly, what hotel are we going to?"

Alyson's head popped over Dani's seat. "I don't know, it's Hilton something."

"Hilton Anaheim?" I asked, suddenly perking up.

"That's the one," they agreed at the same time and smiled at each other.

"I'm staying there too," I said. "Ok, that's it, tonight we're having a slumber party!"

Alyson and Dani laughed.

God, her laugh is adorable, I thought and smiled at her.

"We're with our class, Demi," she said.

"Don't you want to hang out with me?" I said and started pouting. I stuck out my bottom lip and gave her puppy dog eyes.

"You're adorable," Dani said and started blushing and looked embarrassed. I smiled at her. I think she was even more beautiful when she blushed.

"Of course we want to hang out," Alyson said. "It's just a matter of whether our teacher will let us or not."

"Guys we have to go," Dani said, looking around at the people already leaving.

We packed up and followed everyone out.

"I have to go to the bathroom, Aly, wait here for everyone else," Dani told her. Alyson nodded and I followed Dani.

"I'm going to need your phone number." I said and she looked at me, shocked. "Well, if we're going to meet up at Disneyland, I'm going to need to be able to text you. Oh, and if you're staying in my room tonight at the hotel and you ride with them, you need to text me where you are so I can get you."
