Demi's POV

It's been a month since I invited Dani to live with me and she's finally coming today. I had a few things to deal with before I wanted her here and now it's all done.

I stood outside of the new house I bought for us and the baby that was due in 8 months. It was perfect, huge, and at the top of a hill in a quiet area a little outside of L.A so it had a gorgeous view. I know she'd love it.

I looked at my watch. Ten more minutes and she'll be here. Then another five and it happens.

My heart was racing as I paced back and forth in the long circle driveway and thought about all the ways this could go wrong. She could not show up in time or maybe the guys are early and she misses it. How would she react? Would it be good or bad? What if-

Before I could finish my thought I heard the gates at the end of the drive start opening and my parents car pull in. My nervousness was replaced by happy butterflies and I couldn't stop a smile from spreading across my lips. The car seemed to be going way too slow and I guess I wasn't the only one who thought that because the back door opened and Dani hopped out before it could stop. She smiled, beautiful as ever and bolted towards me. I opened my arms wide and she crashed into them.

"I love you so much, Demi," she said into the crook of my neck and I tightened my hold on her.

"I missed you, Danielle," I said. It came out as a sigh while I breathed in her sweet scent.

When Dani pulled back she slammed her lips against mine. Her hands tangled in my hair and mine rested at her lower back.

"Ahem," My father fake cleared his throat loudly and, reluctantly, Dani and I pulled back from each other. "We have a few heavy bags here that your mother and I might need help with."

I looked at my watch again and realized I had seven minutes. Before Dani could turn to help, I grabbed her hand and tugged her towards the door.

"Sorry, Dad! I've got things to do!" I shouted over my shoulder while we rushed into the large foyer of the house. It was a circle with two staircases that followed along the walls to the second floor and a long hallway past the stairs.

I pulled her up the stairs with me.

"Demi, this place is huge!" Dani gasped while she followed. "Who's is it?"

"It's ours now, baby." I smiled even though she couldn't see me.

"What?!"

I didn't say anything when my feet touched the second floor. There were two more staircases on the other side of the first ones along with halls past those but right now I just needed to get out the door that was now in front of us that led to the porch.

I dropped Dani's hand, knowing she'd follow, and walked to the door. Opening it, I looked at her and made a sweeping motion with my hand to indicate that she goes first. Danielle rolled her eyes at my gesture but went anyway.

I followed behind and stared at her as she took in the view of the city, sunset, and hills around. The porch wasn't too big but it was a decent size. I stayed behind her as she walked slowly to the thick glass wall that went up to her chest and kept staring wordlessly out at the beautiful world. All I could focus on was the most beautiful view of my soon-to-be fiancé in front of me.

Nervously feeling for the ring in my back pocket of my black ripped skinny jeans, I let out a quiet sigh.

"Ever since day one," I started, "I knew I had to get to know you. Since I saw you on that plane I knew you were different. I paid the guy in front of me that was actually supposed to sit in your spot $1,000 to switch me. You were, are, so beautiful and intriguing. I thought I just wanted to be your friend but every time I touched you, I felt a pull that I couldn't explain and now I can. I love you. I loved you from the first time I saw you and to now."

Dani leaned on the wall and rested her head on her arms. Even though her back was to me, I knew I had her full attention. I figured she wouldn't want to look away from the sunset so it didn't bother me.

I checked my watch one more time. One minute.

"I knew when you got onto the plane to go home that first time in Disneyland that I wanted to spend everyday with you. I couldn't stand not having you with me. I fell in love with you in that first week and kept falling in love after each day passed. You are the love of my life and I can't wait to start our family together. I can't wait for that baby to be born and I can't wait to be there for all of his or her's firsts. I love you so much and now I want to do what feels so right so..." I trailed off and got on one knee, pulling out the ring, just as a rainbow colored blimp came into view of the porch. There was a large led screen on the side that read "Danielle Margaret Perry, will you marry me?"

I kept my eyes on the back of Dani's head as her gaze shifted from the city to the blimp. I was frozen while she read the words and even more frozen as she slowly turned around. Her hand shot to her mouth when she the engagement ring sparkling in the light of the disappearing sun and I saw tears spring to her eyes.

"Will you do the honor of being my wife?" I asked and smiled.

"Demi..." She whispered and her eyes shut. For a second I was scared she was going to say no. Until she opened her eyes again, walked towards me, and got on her knees.

"Of course I will," she answered and smiled widely. "Yes. Yes. A million times yes."

I laughed and pulled her into a tight hug. Without letting go, I got up on my feet and swung my fiancé around off the ground.

My fiancé carrying the baby I was going to raise. With her. My entire family all in my arms.

The beginning of my entire new journey.

THE END
