HOSEOK HAS NEVER READ a book as beautiful as life itself. Sometimes, the words were messy and blurred together into a secret combination of words that only the narrator knew at the time being. Sometimes, the words bled through the page, creating an echo of phrases visible on each page that would be filled.

And he would never thanking the universe for allowing him to write him book just the way he wanted it to be. With a woman by his side that loved him like no other and a beautiful child that they had created together. His child.

As she leaned against the doorway, she watched as her husband rocked their daughter in his arms, singing a soft song to her as she drifted off into a deep sleep. Being a mother wasn't easy but it was even more difficult to live each day as if it weren't the best days of her life. She remembered when Hoseok would bring home multitudes of book on parenting after announcing that she was pregnant. The months that he spend studying up until the delivery warmed her heart.

She loved the way that Hoseok looked at his daughter. It was a gaze filled with love and amusement and everything good in the world. The source of his energy and his happiness were these two girls. He wouldn't trade anything in the world for this.

"You're so cute when you sing to her." She quipped from the doorway just as he had set her into her cot gently, making sure that she was asleep before walking to where his wife stood. His arms came around her waist as he reached her, pressing a kiss to the side of her forehead.

"Yeah? She must get her cuteness from her dad." He pointed a thumb to the sleeping baby.

Grinning, she shook her head. "No, she definitely got her looks from me."

"Do you see those eyes? And her cheeks? And her lips? We're basically the same person?" He joked, the both of them walking out of the bedroom and into the living room where they settled into the couch with content warmth settling at the bottom of their stomachs. The television was on but it was muted. It didn't need to be on. They weren't focused on the movie. They were only focused on themselves and their happiness.

"I love you." She says before leaning her head on his shoulder, her eyes closing.

A smile curves his lips when the words leave her mouth. No matter how many times she had said it before, his heart would always flutter at her affection as would hers.

"I love you more." He mumbles, watching her as her breathing evens out until she is also deep in sleep. His two favorite women in the world were sleeping around him and it was enough to make him feel as though he was the luckiest man on the planet.
