SHE'S SITTING BESIDE A beautiful boy in the middle of a random park that the both of them had ended up in. He won't tell her that he loves her but he does love her. He loves her a lot and there's no way to describe that feeling.
It's difficult to keep herself from telling him just how much she loves him. Being in love, she decides, is not entirely good. She feels vulnerable, and it's not about her anymore. It's about her with him and being dependent is a feeling that all too foreign to her. She feels like she has committed a felony. Like she set a building on fire or stole from her parent's liquor cabinet.
So she chokes down the feeling.
She is beside a beautiful boy but she refuses to succumb to the blanket of love she feels. She swallows it away and she doesn't meet his gaze.
When his hands go over hers, she finally breaks down, trembling in his touch. In his touch, there is a prayer without words. The both of them, so adamant about their feelings, finally come to terms with what has been alive and soaring for a long time.
They have both discovered something that neither can put a name to.
