Part 20

~~~ six months later ~~~
Fluttershy was sitting on a chair in her kitchen watching a TV show on Netflix on her iPad drinking coffee. She had just been given 3 days off of work for a renovation reason. A knock was heard on her door so she paused her TV show and stood up to walk to the door. When she opened it, it was Rainbow Dash. He looked very nice today, as usual.

He's as fine as he is everyday

Fluttershy said to herself.
"Hey." Rainbow said.
"Hey Rainbow." Fluttershy said, letting Rainbow in. He looked a bit excited about something.
"You seem a bit excited." Fluttershy chuckled as Rainbow sat on the couch, Fluttershy sitting down and joining him.
"Yeah, I have really great news!" Rainbow said, looking at Fluttershy whom was curious about what the great news was.
"Well what is it?" Fluttershy asked.
"The military moved my army site to Canterlot so I don't have to go off anymore!" Rainbow said. Fluttershy widened her eyes in excitement. She was very happy that Rainbow could finally stay here now.
"That's amazing!, I get to see you a lot more now!" Fluttershy said, hugging Rainbow. He accepted the hug. When they broke their hug, Rainbow still held onto Fluttershy's back and lower waist and looked into her eyes.
"I don't want to ever go away again, and, I'm glad I get to see you a lot more now." Rainbow said, kissing Fluttershy on the lips. Fluttershy accepted it and kissed back, she also leaned back to that she would have her back laying on the couch as Rainbow would be on top of her. They kissed more and more until another knock was heard on the door, breaking their kiss and they both leaned up.
"Are you fucking serious?" Rainbow said, a bit annoyed that someone interrupted their kiss. Fluttershy laughed and got up from the couch. She opened the door to see all of her old friends, Rarity, Pinkie, Twilight and Applejack at the door.
"Hey Fluttershy!" Rarity said.
"Hey! Oh sorry I forgot you guys were coming today." Fluttershy said, letting them in.
"It's alright darling, is Rainbow here yet?" Rarity asked.
"I'm already here." Rainbow said, surprised faces on the recently arrived people.
"Oh ok." Pinkie said.

The old group of friends haven't seen each other in a while since Rainbow's welcome back from under the ice six months ago. They all talked for a while and had a few drinks. Applejack saw Rainbow a bit nervous whenever he would look at Fluttershy. He knew why he was nervous because Rainbow had told him why.
"Rainbow, I need your help with the tire of my car, can you come outside and help me?" Applejack asked Rainbow.
"Sure." Rainbow said, getting up with Applejack to go outside with him to his car. When they got outside and walked to Applejack's car, Applejack just looked at the tires as Rainbow was watching.
"What's wrong?" Rainbow said.
"Nothing's wrong with the tires." Applejack said.
"...then why would you call me out here?" Rainbow asked.
"'Cause I didn't want to say this in front of the girls." Applejack said.
"Say what?" Rainbow asked.
"I can see that your nervous whenever you look at Fluttershy." Applejack said.
"Oh.." Rainbow said.
"When are you gonna ask her?" Applejack asked.
"..Soon, I'm just waiting until the right time, maybe next week is good." Rainbow said.
"Heh, okay but don't chicken out." Applejack said. Rainbow chuckled.
"Me?, chicken out? Please, I'm Rainbow Dash, the strongest man on earth,I won't." Rainbow said.
"If you say so." Applejack said.

~~~ Next Week ~~~

Fluttershy was coming home from a very fancy modelling shoot today. She had to wear a nice dress to go there since it was a formal shoot. Plus, Rainbow told her that he was bringing her to someplace special when she got home and he told her to dress nice so she was already ready. When she got home, she saw Rainbow's car parked in her driveway as he was leaning on the side of his car. He looked a bit nervous when Fluttershy saw him but when he saw her, he had a smile on his face. She also saw that he was wear a suit. Fluttershy blushed when she saw him. When she parked her car and got out of it, she walked up to him.
"Have you ever considered modelling?" Fluttershy asked, walking closer to him.
"Not really my thing, but perfect for you, you look amazing." Rainbow said as Fluttershy was now in front of him as she gave Rainbow a nice peck on the lips.
"So do you." Fluttershy said. She then started walking to the passenger seat of Rainbow's nice sports car.
"So where are we going?" Fluttershy asked as Rainbow reversed out of the driveway.
"I'd rather you see it for yourself." Rainbow said.
"Okay." Fluttershy said.

Fluttershy gasped when she saw where Rainbow took her. It was a place she has always wanted to see since she was a kid, but she has never had time to do so. It was a beautiful view of the whole city from a nice calming cliff area where a lot of people (mostly photographers) go to take pictures there. But for now,no one was there since it was during sunset which made the view a whole lot more amazing.
"How did you know I've wanted to see this place my whole life?!" Fluttershy said, amazed by the view. Rainbow walked up beside her.
"Well, I've heard you talk about it so much when we were in elementary and in high school, plus I've known you for my entire life." Rainbow said.
"And I just thought you'd finally get to see it." Rainbow said. Fluttershy turned to Rainbow.
"It's amazing, this is amazing, thank you Rainbow." Fluttershy said,hugging him as he accepted it. When they broke their hug, Rainbow quietly took a deep breath and stared into Fluttershy's eyes.
"Fluttershy?." Rainbow asked.
"Yes?" Fluttershy said.
"I've known you my entire life, and if I never met you that day back in grade 8, I can only imagine how bad my life would have been if you weren't there. Our relationship has had it's fair share of bumps but it all works out in the end. From that day I saved the school from the shootings to graduation, to that Christmas and me coming back from under the ice. I've never stopped loving you since day one. And I,....Fluttershy, I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Rainbow said in speech, but then he got down on one knee, pulling out a small box in his hand. Fluttershy smiled and widened her eyes and mouth, covering her hand over her mouth as her eyes started watering in joy.
"Fluttershy?" Rainbow said
"Y-Yes?" Fluttershy said, stuttering a bit from pure excitement.
"W-Will you marry me?" Rainbow asked, opening the box to reveal and stunning diamond ring that Fluttershy adored.
"Yes!" Fluttershy said as Rainbow stood up as Fluttershy hugged him tightly. Rainbow laughed from relief from the marriage proposal going extremely well. He put his arms around her waist and hugged her back. They both lifted their heads up and kissed each other passionately. Fluttershy put her hands on Rainbow's cheeks during the kiss. When they broke their kiss, they both smiled and laughed.
"I love you Rainbow." Fluttershy smiled.
"I love you too Fluttershy." Rainbow said as they both leaned in for another kiss.
