The Wedding of Gilmore Green

A/N: Later in this chapter, there will be content for mature readers , no sexual scenes though.

It was the next day. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash still couldn't believe that they ended up being the maid of honour and best man for this wedding. In the morning, Fluttershy had to get up early to go to Gilmore's house. Same with Rainbow but he had to go to Andrew's house.

It was the time of the ceremony in a big nice church. The aisles were all full due to how fashionably famous Gilmore was. Andrew was already up at the front, waiting for his bride. Rainbow was standing behind him since he was the best man for the wedding, along with the 2 other men that were good friends to both Andrew and Rainbow. They all waited in a diagonal line until the music started playing, cuing the bridesmaids to come up then the bride. Rainbow looked over to the path where they would be walking, he stared and stared at the door, waiting for Fluttershy to be there, since she was the first person walking. But then the door opened, and Fluttershy was walking. Rainbow widened his eyes at Fluttershy, she was stunning, no, more than that, she was an angel. She looked absolutely amazing as Rarity said the day before. She was walking down the aisle as the 2 other bridesmaids were following behind her until she got to the front. Fluttershy noticed Rainbow staring, she blushed and smiled, Rainbow looked amazing too. His nice black suit that fitted him perfectly matched Fluttershy's black bridesmaid dress. Gilmore Green wanted the dresses black to match her black and white coloured wedding. Then the bride came walking down the aisle, sure she was stunning too, but to Rainbow, Fluttershy was the most beautiful person there.

After the ceremony ended, it was time for everyone to go to the hall where the fancy after wedding party was. The huge room had an open space in the middle for dancing, a lot of tables for the guests and a nice big table for all the bridesmaids, best men and the new married couple. The bridesmaids and best men had to pair up together for the entrance, of course, Rainbow and Fluttershy were together. When they finally got the chance to see each other today, it was when they were about to enter the room full of guests. They had to link arms together to enter.
"Fluttershy, you look amazing!" Rainbow said, linking arms with her.
"Thank you!." Fluttershy said.
"When you walked down the aisle, I couldn't stop staring at you, literally." Rainbow said. Fluttershy laughed.
"I know I saw you." Fluttershy said, chuckling.
Then the doors opened and they all walked through, guests cheering for the new married couple that were the last to enter, to give more of a 'grand-finale' thing.

After about 3 hours of loud music, the DJ decided to play slow songs now. When the slow song went, a lot people were going up to the dance floor and started slow dancing. Fluttershy and Rainbow turned there heads to the dance floor then turned back to see that their table full of people were practically gone, they already went dancing. They both looked at each other.
"Want to dance with me Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked, standing up and holding out a hand for her. She took his hand and stood up.
"I'd love to." Fluttershy said, her and Rainbow walked to the dance floor full of people. It was quite dark in the room. When Rainbow and Fluttershy found their spot, they both stopped and Rainbow put a hand around Fluttershy's waist, the other one holding her hand. Fluttershy put her hand on Rainbow's shoulder, the other one holding his hand. They both danced for a while, it was silent. But the whole time Rainbow was just staring at Fluttershy, still taking in all of her beauty after 4 hours of seeing it.
"It's been a while since we've danced together." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah, a long long while." Rainbow said. Thinking of what prom was like for Fluttershy. Was she alone for prom? Did she go with someone? Rainbow felt guilty if she went alone,  not being able to go with her, ruining her once in a lifetime chance of the amazing senior prom. Rainbow wanted to make up for it.
"Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked. She looked up at him.
"Yes?" She replied. Rainbow bit his lip.
"Um...h-how was prom for you?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy narrowed her eyebrows at the un-relevant question.
"It was fine, why do you ask?" Fluttershy said.
"Well, right here, right now reminds me of what prom would have looked like and it just got me wondering, did you go with anyone?" Rainbow asked. Not intending on being the 'jealous boyfriend'.
"..no I didn't go with anyone, but you came back at graduation and that was worth waiting for." Fluttershy said.
"But then I left again and again, then for 7 years, I love you so much but I hate you having to suffer from be being gone all the time and waiting, if you did go with someone to prom, I get it I'm okay with that." Rainbow said
"Rainbow your worth waiting for, you protect the country in the army, I completely understand that, and no I went alone to prom but my friends were there for me too, Pinkie didn't have anyone to go with either so I stayed with her." Fluttershy said. Rainbow stayed silent.
"Sure I would of loved you being there, but you had important tasks to do and I understand that." Fluttershy said.
"...Sorry for that." Rainbow said.
"It's okay." Fluttershy said, leaning in and kissing Rainbow lightly on the lips. Rainbow smiled and kissed her back for a short while, making sure not to show public affection.
