JEFF AND Chrissy arrived at the party. "Love birds!" Jessica called them over with two red cups in her hands. She passed them to the two and smiled. "I'm so glad you could come, you're gonna have a blast, and Chrissy I expect you to show me some of your dance moves." She said winking before going back to Justin. "Babe, is your brother coming?" Jeff asked her taking a swig of his drink, whilst Chrissy had already downed hers. "Yeah, he was combing back his hair when I left." She replied giggling.
"Wanna play beer pong?"Jeff left Chrissy playing beer pong when he saw Clay walk out back. "Dude, Hannah's here." He told him, repeatedly glancing back at Chrissy to make sure she was okay. "She is? That's cool, hope she has a nice time." Clay replied flatly, also looking at his sister.
"You need to go in there, and talk to her." Jeff said, stoping him from walking away. "She's talking to someone else. She's busy." Clay said trying to dodge talking to her.'That's your cue, man. That's your cue to cut in. Take a swing." Jeff patted his shoulder to encourage him. "Take a swing." Clay asked, completely confused. "You've got a fat slider in your sweet spot. You've got to swing the bat through the strike zone and knock it out." Jeff explained in his baseball manner, which was the only way he could explain it. "See, I'm aware those are baseball terms, and if I'm interpreting correctly, giving my batting average, I would end up with a strike out and not a home run." Clay replied, clearly bored.
"Oh fuck me, Jensen! Get the hell in there man. Now, okay? Or I'm gonna kick your ass." Jeff was clearly annoyed, he just wanted Clay to be happy and Clay wasn't helping himself.
"You'd never kick my ass. Chrissy would kick your ass for kicking my ass." Clay argued, Jef shook his head."Don't tempt me." He said letting out a ragged breath. "How am I tempting you?" Clay mumbled back, spreading out his arms. "Go talk to her, man. You're the reason she came, and I came with your sister who I've not seen in 5 minutes because you don't have the balls to talk to Hannah." Clay shook his head. "I don't know that." Jeff looked down before looking back up at Clay.
"I think you do." He said smirking, before looking up at the sky and stepping out of Clay's way. "Go on." He encouraged Clay, who smiled faintly and listened. He went in to talk to Hannah, and Jeff went and stood behind Chrissy and kissed her neck, putting his hands on her waist. "Wanna go inside?" He asked her, because he could see the goosebumps on her arm and he didn't want her to be cold, he didn't bring a jacket to give her either.

It was around a couple hours later, Clay was talking to Hannah, whilst Jeff had stopped drinking because Chrissy was wasted and needed looking after. Despite that, Chrissy persuaded Jeff to play Suck and Blow. Jeff passed the card to Chrissy and she passed it on to Zach. Bryce handed Chrissy another drink whilst Jeff was still on Coca-Cola.
"You sure you don't want a drink, baby? Chrissy asked him slurring, slipping herself onto his lap, straddling him. "No, no princess. I'm good, I need to make sure you don't fall over your own two feet." He said teasingly, in a child's voice before kissing her nose making her giggle. "Aww, aren't you precious!" She squealed tapping his cheek and then connecting their lips. He almost dropped his cup, but wrapped only one and around her waist. The group playing 'Suck and Blow' groaned and Justin shoved Jeff's shoulder causing them to break apart.
"Round 2!" Justin shouted, answering Jeff and Chrissy's glare. When the card got round to Justin he blew it away and started making out with Jessica. "Hey! Stop making out on my brother you rabbits!" Chrissy shouted as Clay and Hannah scooted away. "Oh shit, well I guess I lost!" Justin shouted taking his tongue out of Jess's mouth.
"Yes you fucking did." Chrissy mumbled sucking the card from Jess's mouth and passing it to Jeff. After suck and blow, Chrissy went outside with Jeff again. He was sharing a cig with Zach whilst Chrissy was dancing under the fairy lights across the garden with a girl from the cheerleading team. She was drunkenly whipping her hair and giggling twirling the girl. Jeff was smiling at her, he loved seeing her happy even if she was drunk.
Clay came jogging out of the house and Jeff stopped him. "Dude you're leaving?" He asked walking over to him with his coca-cola. "Um, yeah. I kind of am." Clay mumbled, fidgeting with his jacket. "Looked like shit was happening for you in there." "Did it?" Clay responded confused. "Didn't it?" Jeff asked, smirking. "I don't man...I just don't ever know...anything."
"That's why you got me, man. I know. What ever happened in there. Just give it a minute, then go back in there, and find her." Jeff saw how upset Clay looked and tried to make him feel better, but Clay didn't. Hannah told him to leave and all he wanted to do was stay and tell her he loved her.
"I'm going home." Clay mumbled, turning away. "Just hang with me for a while, man." Jeff replied stopping him again. He didn't want Clay to go home sad or alone. "I'm going on a beer run, with your sister soon, come." "You're driving?" Clay asked, eyeing up Jeff's red cup. "Coca-cola my friend. I had two beers two hours ago, I mean somebody has to look after your sister." He said pointing to her, Chrissy and the blonde girl were still dancing with some more people, their drinks splashing out of the cups in their hands. Clay smiled softly at his sister before shaking his head, turning back.
"No, no. Thanks Jeff, but I'm gonna take and long walk home and consider the wreckage that is my life." Jeff sympathetically smiled at Clay. "You're a funny dude, Clay.""So I've been told, see you Monday?"
"Yeah."••••
Jeff had safely got Chrissy into the passenger side of his car without breaking a heel. "Where did my brother go?" She asked Jeff as he drove to the nearest store. "He went home, baby." He said pulling up outside the store. "I'm gonna go get some beers. Stay here." He told her like she was a child. She nodded her head, tapping her nails on the door. She hummed to the song on the radio until he returned with lots of beers, and placed them on her lap stacked and some on the floor by her feet.
"I hope you didn't fucking pay for all this shit!" She slurred as he started the ignition. "No, no. Everybody chipped in." He chuckled as he turned down a street. "I'm having a fun night!" Chrissy said excitedly as she opened one of the beers. "Good! I'm glad you are princess." He said smiling as he changed the song. Losing My Religion came on making Chrissy groan. "Nope." She said changing it to the next one, but Jeff changed it back. "No Jeff stop, I want the spice girls!" She shouted jokingly.
He kept his eyes on the road as they both kept changing it back and forth, Chirssy put her arm up to change it again, he took his arm off the steering wheel and slapped her hand playfully.
"Fuck sake Jeff would you-"She didn't even get to finish her sentence, Jeff's car collided with another, it went so fast. Jeff hit his head hard on the steering wheel, his side of the car was the side that was hit. Chrissy's head hit the front mirror, the beer bottles smashing against his ribs, the small glass pieces going into her chest, feet and face. It was horrible, they were both bleeding out,
barley breathing.
