CHRISSY HAD just gotten home from work, it'd been a long day at the hospital but she was finally home. Her home wasn't a house, it was a person. People. Jeff and their two kids.

Jeff greeted her as she walked in, she could already smell the burning food.

"I thought I'd make us dinner, whilst the kids were at your parents." He said kissing her on the forehead. "I think it's burning." Chrissy whispered, unwrapping herself from around him. Jeff jogged into the kitchen and pulled the pizza out of the oven. "Pizza?" Chrissy asked, giggling, pouring herself a glass of wine. "I made it from scratch." He said, his tone going high. Chrissy looked at him, hand on her hip. "Yeah, I got it out of a box." He admitted laughing.

"At least I know it's cooked." She said sarcastically looking at the pure black pizza. "Yeah whatever, I'll call the pizza place." He droned walking to the phone. Chrissy peaked into the dining room to see the plates and cutlery set with candles and rose petals. Very romantic for a pizza out of a box.

Half an hour later they were both sat at the table eating their cheese pizza. "What's the occasion with the dim lit room and the candles, along with this very expensive bottle of wine that we can't afford?"

Jeff chuckled setting his pizza down and taking her hand in his. "Well, since as have the kids all the time we never get time together, so I thought we could make this a weekly thing. I just want to remind you how much I love you." He was so sweet so kind.

"Maybe next time, I can cook." She said squeezing his finger lightly, he laughed at her before taking his hand from hers and pulling a black velvet box from his pocket. "I wanted to ask you something." He cleared his throats leaning forward to her. "You know I love you right and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, right?" She nodded her eyes widening, she knew where this was going and she was bubbling with excitement.

"And fuck, I should've done this I
a really long time ago, I knew I wanted to be with you forever when you first sat next to me in English." He got on his knee, figuring he had to be traditional.

"Chrissy, will you marry me?"

"Yes." She squealed, jumping off the chair and on to the floor, smashing her lips to his. "Yes. Yes. Yes." She said pecking his lips over and over in between her words.

"I love you so much, baby girl."
"I love you more handsome."
