"I DON'T mean to be one of them people, but why the fuck is it always me?" Chrissy asked Tony who was laying next to her in her small hospital bed. Thankfully, she had a private room and the nurse agreed not to call Chrissy's family out of sympathy.

"I ask myself that a lot, about you. You're my best friend and I hate seeing you suffer which is all the fucking time. I also have listened to the tapes..."

"I know." She replied not wanting to talk about what he was going to say. Bryce. Sheri. He was going to ask her about how she was feeling about that and she simply wouldn't have a reply.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Nope." He sighed at her reply, annoyed mostly. "You know if you don't talk, you're just going to explode one day. You might as well ease it out." She shook her head, her fingers circling her stomach. "I have a lot of things to say, I just don't know how to say it yet. I'm still processing most of this myself."

By Chrissy's surprise her parents and Clay strolled into her room making her sit up so fast she got head rush. "What the fuck are you doing here? Tony what the fuck?" She was so angry, she'd told me to keep it a secret he promised. "They deserve to know Chrissy, you're 17 they have to know."

"Get the fuck out." She said to him with a killer glare, so pissed off. He respected her wishes walking out of the room. Clay nodded at him, as a thank you for being there for his sister.

"Chrissy, sweetie are you okay?" Lainie sat at the edge of her bed as the two men sat on the chairs in Chrissy's room. "For fuck sake. Yes I'm so happy to find out that my baby, who's father is my dead boyfriend, is going to die."

"Oh, Chrissy baby." Her mom said crying, pulling her only daughter in for a hug, making her wince from the stomach pain. "The doctor said the earliest you can have the operation is in three days." Her father said, holding Chrissy's hand. Chrissy nodded, politely shoving her mother off her feeling hot and bothered.

"We also have um, booked you an appointment with a therapist honey. We want you to feel okay, and we thought maybe a professional could help you."

Chrissy nodded at her mother figuring she was too tried to fight and really did need the help. Her mom pulled her in for a hug, whispering in her ear.

"We love you Chrissy, so much. We hope you will get better soon."

Me too.
