CHRISSY WAS sat on the bleachers with her brother and Jeff. Clay was in the middle, keeping the two people that had become obsessed with each other at a small distance, but to them, it felt like miles. The cheerleaders were preforming at the moment, so Chrissy decided to scroll through her phone as her brother and Jeff were talking history.Groupchat

She didn't dress up for the party, she dressed casual, grabbing her leather jacket as she heard a car horn from outside. Montgomery was picking her up. Surprisingly, he'd agree to try being 'friends' even do he was still madly in love with Chrissy. "Hey." She greeted him as she got in the car and buckled up her belt.
"Hey." He replied coldly, putting the car into gear. The car ride there was, awkward, that's the only word for it. The atmosphere was dead, flat. Like they hadn't had a wild love story for six months. She slammed Montgomery's car door so hard, just so he knew that she was unhappy. She told him that she wanted to be friends but clearly he wanted more.
She shook of the awkward car ride and walked into Bryce's little party house in his back yard. The music was quiet and there was only around ten people there, so much for a party, she thought walking inside more. "The party's arrived!" Bryce shouted, spotting Chrissy walk in. "Damn right it fucking has!" She mumbled loudly, more to herself than anybody else, and made a beeline to the booze table.
"Hey Chrisssy," Bryce said drunkenly coming behind her. "Hey Brycey." She replied in the same tone, pouring a vodka in a red solo cup. "Would you like some weed?" He asked showing her the large bag of green herbs. Her mouth watered, she hadn't touched that stuff in months, she hadn't stopped taking it, she just didn't party every weekend anymore, and she'd normally take it when she was drunk.

"Oh my god Bryce, there's a fucking unicorn outside!" Chrissy screamed over the music, stumbling to the window in her heels. Everybody laughed at her state. She'd been there two hours and was completely out of her mind. They'd never seen her so drunk. "Why are your walls spinning? It's like one of them shit optical illusion houses." Chrissy was full on talking to herself, she picked up a lampshade and put it on her head like a lamp.
"I knew I should've been casted in fucking Beauty and the Beast, I'd be a perfect lamp for oh Sir Beast, Princey Adam!" She was mumbling now, but it was loud, she was walking slowly placing one foot in front of the other until she reached a sofa and flopped down on it, landing on Zach's knees.
"Zacharyyy!" She screeched. He shook his head and took the lampshade of Chrissy's head, to which she pouted like a child. A girl across from her giggled, Chrissy sat up and stared at her, they were the only two girls here.
The girl was beautiful, even Chrissy could see that in her blurred vision, Justin's arm was around the girl's shoulder, Chrissy immediately assumed this girl was Jessica. Chrissy has seen Jessica with Hannah and Alex in Monet's a few times when she was in there with Jeff.

Hours earlier, Jeff and Clay were in the school library at the same table as last time. "Why did you cancel our last few study sessions, have you been cheating on me?" Clay asked Jeff in full seriousness. Jeff bellowed out a laugh, with a nervous tint to it. Nervous because he decided to tell Clay what he's been doing with Clay's little sister.
"No, Clay actually I've been with your sister. We've been hanging out lately, I've actually, um, taken her out on a couple...dates." Jeff finished his sentence with a loud cough at the end, looking at Clay's face, he could tell this wasn't going to be a pleasant conversation.
"I want you to answer me honestly Jeff, have you slept with my sister?" Clay's cold stare was on Jeff, watching his every movement. Jeff shook his head quickly, furrowing his eyebrows. "No, Clay, we've just made out a few times." Jeff was scratching the back of his neck, his nails digging into his skin with nerves. Clay was important to him, he didn't want to jeopardize their friendship.
Clay nodded a few times, taking on Jeff's words before connecting eyes with him again. "Do you like my sister?" "A lot, so fucking much Clay, she's perfect." Jeff couldn't stop himself, it was true, he liked her so much, he thought she was the perfect girl, the best girl any guy could have. Clay smiled, he knew he'd never hear Montgomery say something like that about his sister.
"Are you gonna ask my sister out?" Clay asked Jeff. Jeff cleared his throat and twiddled his thumbs. "Yeah, I mean, fuck, no. I was going to I just wanted to make sure it was alright with you. You're my friend Clay, and I wouldn't want to upset you."
"Promise me you won't hurt her, you'll tell her how important she is to you, make her understand that she's special?" Clay was desperate for his sister to find somebody that could make her feel good. He knew how crappy she'd been feeling lately, he blamed on their twin bond. He felt like he felt her emotion. Late at night when he can hear her still awake he'd go talk to her, or he'd hug her. He knew that sometimes all she needed was a hug, it was her favorite type of comfort.
"I promise, Clay."
