It had been two years since my passing and one day Scotty was at home with our children, Kimberly and Jose. He made Kimberly breakfast and fed Jose his bottle. After breakfast, Scotty asked Kimberly, "What do you want to do today, sweetheart?" "Oh, I don't know, can I go even to a friends house today?" "Yes, but come home around lunch time, so that I can feed you before I go into the studio. I have to feed your brother too." So then before he left, Scotty was holding Jose and he bent down and said to Kimberly, "Angel, be good at your friend's house, alright? I love you." While he watched her walk to her friend's house he thought to himself, since it was around Christmas time, I wonder what Christmas in Heaven is like? Think of me, angel. Never forget me, like I never forget you. I miss you and love you forever, angel. He decided to put up the Christmas tree and the decorations. He set out a manger scene on a side table in the living room. He looked out the window and it started snowing and he thought to himself, I hope that I can make it through this holiday season without her by my side. When it was lunch time, Kimberly came to the door and asked, "Daddy, would you like some help?" "No I'm fine, sweetheart, I need to do this by myself, just keep an eye on your brother for me, alright?" "Okay, I'll do that for you, Daddy." "Thank you, angel." "You're welcome Daddy, I love you." "I love you too, angel." He took a break, came in and made some drinks. He made himself a cup of some sweet tea (a drink that he drank in North Carolina.) When he finished making him and the kids' drinks, he walked out to the living room and he sat down and watched T.V. While he was watching T.V., Kimberly ran up to him and asked, "Daddy, can I go outside to play, please?" "Sure. But remember the rule, stay close to where I can see you." "I will. Love you, Daddy." "Love you too, baby." She went outside to play and it started snowing again and so she built a snowman and Scotty went to get Jose for his morning bottle and he fed him while he watched Kimberly outside playing in the snow.
