Chapter #2 The unexpected turn 'up'
*~☕︎~*Fay
"What!?" Screamed the boyish voice in front of me, with curiosity and, I'm pretty, sure anger. Which I can only guess is because I've just blinded, beaten, and bitten this kidnapper.
Like, honestly though, did he think I was gonna just yell for help. Goodness gracious, that's how people die! I've watched way too many horror movies and documentaries to not, not be able to distinguish what to do.
"I said I'm not gonna let y-" I attempted to reply, trying to stand my ground.
"Yes, I heard you! And trust me I think all damn New York did too," He once again tried to whisper, while rubbing his now drenched pepper sprayed eyes.
"Good! Now, if you'll excuse me. I'm gonna call the cops," I explain almost bringing out my phone from the front pocket of my now poor, favorite, leathered bag. It looks like it got ran over, chewed and then swallowed.
Although the kidnapper seems to still have some fight left in him, so he pushes me to the wall once more and takes my phone from my startled hands. Oh, he did not just take my phone!
"Give that back you hooligan!" I scream once more, as I smack his head and prepare to take out my pepper spray again.
"Hey, hey, wait a moment. Sheesh, look I'm sorry I probably scared you and that's why you're going all ninja on me, but chill, I'm not a creep, there's no need to call the cops," He, surprisingly, calmly states.
"Th-then. Why, why? Di-did you tackle me!" I practically scream, still holding the little bottle of butt woop, up to his face with my shacking right hand.
"calm down Fay! Your starting to stutter."
"It was an accident, I was running and not looking forward, so I rammed into you," He says, still rubbing his eyes.
"B-but, then w-by did you drag me with you!? And then pin me to the wall?!"
"Because I felt bad that I ran over a someone, gosh, it's common sense. Also, if you would've paid attention to your surroundings maybe you could of, you know, moved," The not so kidnapper explains, with annoyance and a bit of sassy in their tone.
"But still! You dragged me! You could've said sorry and moved on!" I exclaimed, with my hand thrown in the air.
"Alright! Sure, I guess I was kinda distracted." He sighs, rubbing his face irritatedly.
"What were you so distracted by, that you ran over someone like an aggravated bull?" I ask while rubbing my poor, now bruised, body.
He sighs, handing me my phone. "It's none of your business anyways. Sorry once more, I was just distracted, here." The kidnapper then proceeds to scratch the back of his head almost shyly.
I narrow my eyes at him, swiftly taking back my beautiful, best friend, and put it safely into my bag once more. Then it hits me. Painfully.
My luggage. My luggage with all my belongings. It's not here.
The panic chills shoot throughout my body, like I've been pushed over once more. "No! Please no!" I scream, while running back toward the direction from where I got dragged.
"Hey what's wrong now!?" The voice behind me asks. I ignore the not so kidnapper, still running like my life depends on it.
Running back to where I was knocked over, I look around franticly, praying that my navy blue suit case would be there waiting for me. although, I'm met with the horrible truth, that it's not.
