Chapter #4 Trying to find a way to positive things 'up' a bit, do milkshakes count?

Friendship. How does it work? Is it just something that happens naturally or does it take a lot of effort? I guess that's another interesting subject I've been meaning to figure out. Isn't it quite interesting and irritating that some people just make friends so easily? They always have someone by their side and they're extremely liked by everyone and everything for that matter. I almost would like to interview them, just to see what makes them so likable.

"So, Fay, how come you came to NYU of all Universities?" Asks Jeffery, interrupting my thoughts, who was currently sitting by my side in Avery's little, yellow, bug car. It suits her quite well in my opinion.
"Well, some family members of mine were really infatuated with this University since we were quite young. So, it was all planed out," I reply, looking out the window to enjoy the scenery. We were currently driving to the outdoor mall that Avery and I strolled through yesterday.
"More like, she strolled, and you crawled."
"That's cool. My parents live about an hour way, so they naturally wanted me to go to a college in state," Stated Jeff with a small smile.
"Also, because I'm going here, and where I go, he goes. Isn't that right Jeff?" Interrupted Avery, as her brown eyes glance at Jeff through her rear-view mirror.
Jeffery chuckled lightly. "That's also true, I didn't wanna leave my group, ya know? We've pretty much been together since middle school, so why break the chain now?"
"That's actually quite different, most people don't really stay in touch after high school, let alone stay friends," I state while still looking out the car window.
"One things for sure though; Ave, if you really want all of us to go places, you really need to get a new car," Mumbles Charles while rubbing his arm, as it looked like the car door was slicing right through it. "And from now on, I'm definitely not sitting next to Jeff, for the love of pie can you frickin scoot over!" Charles exclaims, while punching Jeff on the shoulder.
Jeffery gasps. "Avery! Charles is forgetting what personal space is again!" He punches Charles in his side.
"Ugh, can you two four-year old's shut up! And Charles don't complain to the driver once again unless you don't want any more free rides," Avery replies looking once again through the rear-view, shooting him a deathly glare.
"When do you get your car back Char?" asks Cassie, as she pops her pink bubble gum and continues to keep her late-night eyes fixed on her phone screen.
"Oh! That's right, Mr. Perfect lost his car, didn't he?" Exclaims Jeff, as he pouts his lips, all the while showing off his pretty hazel eyes.
"One: I didn't lose it, Jake did. Two: I'll be getting it back in about a week. Three: I swear if you don't scoot over, and stop practically trying to dismantle my foot with your stupid shoe, I will throw you out this window." Charles shoots a deathly glance at Jeff.
"That would be a poor window."
"Avery! Charles is threatening me! Get my lawyer!" Jeffery yells out once again.
"Come on guys. Just like two minutes then we're there! Stop fighting. Jeffery contain yourself and Charles control yourself!" Avery yells back in reply, before huffing agitatedly and regaining focus on her driving.
