'Up' comes our epilogue.

Two months after.

The snow fell heavily down on this, ending of February, late afternoon. The air was crisp, like fresh chips, or like autumn leaves once you've crunched on them.

Although, this air was also filled with anxiety, excitement and a hint of mint.

The hint of mint, coming from Eli nervously blowing his spearmint gum, as he paces back forth down his little apartment hall way. To the door, and back to the living room. To the door and back.

This has been Eli's routine for the past twenty minutes. His large chocolate eyes excitedly snap over to his roommate's bedroom door over and over, awaiting her appearance.

As he fidgeted in his familiar comfy grey jacket that came over his plain black sweater and dark wash jeans, he clicked his feet together anxiously, that were placed in his old, worn out chucks.

The only other living creature to see him in this anxious state was the little charcoal ball of fluff that walked alongside him. Twirling his tail, as his neon eyes watched Eli, happily.

Eli would never admit it, but he had become quite attached to this little fur ball during these many months. And just knowing the little creature was around, as he waited nervously, made him feel a wink of ease.

"Hey pigtails? You okey? You're taking forever, if we don't leave now, we're going to miss the surprise," He laughed, knocking her door for the third time.

Little did he know, behind the door, the nervous strawberry blonde was attempting her absolute best to perfect her words and actions. You see, this was the mint eyed girl's routine, she would take a larger amount of time to prepare her thoughts and what she was going to say, than actually getting ready for their date.

"Alright Fay! Keep calm, and just speak your mind! If he hasn't been scared off in the past two months, then what could you possible say that would scare him now?" Her common sense butted in.

"You're right," She thought, as she smiled, looking back at her reflection in the mirror.

Tumbling down came her long, strawberry hair, that was curled loosely, with some shorter strands framing her pale face. Her large spearmint eyes stood out quite profoundly, due to adding a bit of black blotches to her short lashes. She had coated her small, slim, pale lips with a bit of gloss to make sure they were noticeable to some extent.

She smoothed out her large, baggy, cherry red sweater dress over her light wash jeans. Its sleeves were puffed, which was honestly the only complex part of her outfit.

Fay took one last glance in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction, before grabbing her new black leather jacket and her old familiar boats.

Finally, her door knob turned, and Eli's eyes snapped to the girl before him. His red lips pulled into an innocent smile, as his eyes looked over her. "You look beautiful as always," He stated shyly. He still wasn't use to the idea of her knowing his true feelings, so it was a little nerve racking.

The pale girl's cheeks tainted with a dust of pink. Even though they've been a couple for two months now, she still felt a bit embarrassed when he complemented her.

"T-thanks. Sorry I took so long. I had a difficult controversy to take care of," She stated, allowing her small lips to break into a smile as her eyes met his.

"It seems like you have one of those every day," The curly brunette laughed, as he extended his hand out to hers.

Fay laughed shyly, silently agreeing with him, as she allowed her hand to intertwine with his.
