#30 A simple peck, can mean more, 'up' to the one who's pecked.
*~*~*Eli
I was literally an inch away. An inch away from kissing her. What the hell was I thinking?!
I'll tell you. Nothing. I wasn't thinking at all. It's just, that moment seemed like the perfect time. Just seeing her laugh, her face all red, and that bright, cheerful expression, made me feel like. Well. You know, kissing her! So, no. I didn't think.
Which thankfully, the dirty blonde bimbo took care of that for me.
You know that feeling, when you've wanted something, and worked, and waited for the right moment to take it? Well, that's what I'm feeling right now. I regret it. I regret not kissing her.
"Eli. You're a moron. What if she didn't want that to happen?"
That's the thought that keeps pasting threw my head, over and over again, and it's right. She probably would've hated me. She's probably super confused right now! I probably made her feel uncomfortable, and maybe even scared?
My hands begin to sweat at the thought as I hold the old game controller, watching the screen, playing as Yoshi, running across the game board. I can't help it, my eyes keep flickering to her, who's seated the furthest from me. Her light green eyes seem lost; stuck to the colorful screen, and she looks deep in thought. Her right foot taps lightly on the ground, indicating that she's nervous.
"Muahah! I'm beating you Charles! Take that!" The dirty blonde bursts, and everyone jumps a little. He's the most excited one here. The brunette snorts, quickly using one of his power ups to take all of Jeffery's coins.
"You were saying?" Is all the brunette states. This makes the blonde throw one of our nasty, raisin cookies at him. "Dude! The competition is in the game! Why are you always throwing food at me?"
"It's just one of my personal hobbies," The blonde remarks cockily, as his eyes are fixed on the screen.
"Fay! Quick give me a power up!" The brown eyed girl exclaims. I glance over at the pigtails. Her reaction is slow, and she stutters. "O-oh, s-sorry, I didn't know I could do that." She obeys her friend's request.
"Yes! Look out Charles! I'm about to take all your golden coins!" She laughs, placing her princess peach character across the board, then taking his coins as she stated. "Dammit," Is all that's mutter from him.
"You okey Fay? You seem distracted," Avery then asks. My eyes snap over to them out of curiosity. "Y-yeah. You know what, I'm gonna take a break from the game. I'll go get some snacks and drinks," She states, getting up from the sofa, I watch her walk off into the kitchen.
Once she's in the kitchen, I feel the brown eyed girl stare at me attentively. She gets up slowly from her seat, and comes to sit next to me.
"Why do I feel like this is gonna end badly?"
"So. Care to explain, why you're both acting weird?" She asks, casually, as we both play the game.
I sigh, "What do you mean?"
"Wow. That's your response?"
Quickly, the irritating brunette turns her face to me, and squints her eyes. "I didn't ask for a Justin Bieber song. Did I?"
Wow. She's really annoying. "I'm just playing the game, why do you think I've got something to do with her attitude? Go ask her yourself," I snap, unintentionally, but my mouth can't keep shut.
