I absolutely hate how one minute things can seem to be actually going well, then the next BAM! It's all dismantled in a short instance. Like giving a hungry dog a treat, or like giving someone who's spent a week in the depths of despair a full king size bar of Heresies chocolate.

Gone in an instant.

To be able to express what unbelievable, irritating, vexatious, yet intriguing king size chocolate bar got in my way today we'll have to start from this morning.

Avery's and Cassie's dorm. Ah, yes. This is where I had finally given up from trying to voyage on my own, in this confusing yet infatuating city. Although, it was also because Avery threatened to speak to some higher-up people at the university. And I just couldn't have that happen, because they would most definitely call my mother.

There is no possible way I could let that happen.

To keep that from happening, I promised Avery I would stay in her dorm for a short while. It could only be for a short while anyway, because if I were to stay longer, I could get kicked out due to the fact that the university only allows two people to share a dorm. I know, how convenient. Makes sense in some ways though, they are quite small.

Anyways, I've been here for the past three days, and let me tell you. I'm quite ready to leave.

It's not that I don't like it here and I'm eternally grateful for the free warm bed, free food, free showers and did I mention free? It's just, I can see why the dorms are made for only two people. It's like giving a person three shoes, even though they only have two feet.

So, my three days are bound to finish today. I will no matter what find another place to stay. Even if it's just for the night, I must get out of here. It's Saturday morning, my first day off from my school classes and I'm definitely gonna use this little free time today to find a roommate.

Getting up from the living room pullout couch, I fold the light grey blanket I was sleeping under and fix the couch mattress. The sun gently peeking through the blinds, making the room almost seem as if were glowing with a good tint, exposing little particles that slowly float about in the air.

"Ah yes. Nothing like waking up to dead human skin cells in the morning."

Indeed, it can be gross to imagine, it still looks quite pretty in some ways.

Rubbing my groggy eyes, I pick up my phone from the floor, where it was charging overnight, and notice the illuminating screen saying it's 7:05 am. What can I say? I'm a natural early bird.

As silently as possible, I walk over to my luggage that's just been sitting next to the couch for the past few days; grab my tooth brush, hair brush, my undergarments and some fresh clean cloths.

Walking into the bathroom, I attempt my absolute best to not wake up the two girls in the room beside me, who were out quite late last night to some sort of party I'm guessing.

They invited me, but I'm not rather good at those sorts of things, nor do I like them. Plus! My favorite YouTuber had uploaded a new video talking, in great detail, about the amazing, intriguing new find on how to help drop water pollution by 2.03%.

That was a must see.

Quickly, yet silently, I jump into the warm shower to wash up. Thanking Avery mentally again and again, just for the fact I can use a shower. Finishing up, I get out drying up, then grabbing my undergarments, faded, distressed jeans, and my baggy black sweater with a white stripe on each shoulder. Last, but not least, my socks of the day, which have these cool panda faces on them. Then finally, turning my attention to brush my teeth and hair.
