Crashing Into My Life

Chapter 4

Rocky's POV

Jay came down from getting changed and sat in between me and Rydel.  I looked over at Riker and he had a huge smirk on his face.  I looked over at Jay and she seemed to see the same thing because she had a confused look on her face.  Riker pushed play and Paranormal Activity started. "Promise me you wont punch me in the face" I whispered to Jay making her smile. "I will try my best" she whispered back.  We were like halfway through the movie and Jay was jumping out of her skin.  I looked over at Riker and he had the 'dude do something about that' look on.  I rolled my eyes and turned to Jay.  "You okay" I whispered. "Ive been better" she said. "Come here" I said opening my arms.  She scooted closer to me and buried her head in my chest.  I wrapped my arm around her and took her hand with my other one, rubbing circles with my thumb.  "Its just a movie" I said into her hair.  She seemed to relax a bit being as she stopped shaking.  I looked up at Riker and he gave me a thumb up.  These people need to mind their own dang business.  The movie was almost over and Jay hadn't looked at the screen since she buried her face in my chest.  She was really warm and I actually enjoyed having her a snuggled up next to me.  She shifted slightly so I pulled her so she was sitting on my lap.  She looked up at me and smiled before putting her face back in my chest. "You okay" I asked. "Yea, you smell really good" she chuckled making me laugh a little. 

The movie ended and everyone decided to go to bed. "Come on Jay you can sleep in my room" Rydel said. She got up off of me and I stood up.  "Thanks again Rocky" she said hugging me. "No problem" I said hugging back. Her head fit perfectly under my chin, is it weird that im thinking this, I cant be falling for her already, can I?  "Night" she said and followed Rydel upstairs. "Night beautiful" I said once she was out of hearing range. "Dude" Riker said patting my back. "What" I asked already knowing where this was going.  "You like her don't you" he said smirking. "Maybe a little" I said. "Night beautiful, that's not a little that's a lot" he said. "whatever" I said. "Dude you should make a move" he said. "I want to get to know her better before I ask her out" I said. "Alright I get that, but you should do something so she knows your interested and doesn't got to someone else" he said. "Like what" I asked. "Well just keep flirting with her" he said. "Okay" I said. We walked up to our room passing Rydels on the way.  I looked in and saw Jay sitting on the floor.  She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back and continued the walk to my room. 

Rydel's POV

OMG Jayden and Rocky were so cute cuddled up together during the movie.  When he pulled her onto his lap I wanted to scream at how adorable they looked together.  However for the good of everyone  I kept my mouth shut.  "So what did you think of the movie" I asked Jay. "Um I really didn't watch it" she said "Oh to busy looking at my brothers chest" I joked. "Oh shut up Rydel" she laughed. "Aww come on you two looked adorable together I wanted to scream" I said. She laughed. "Rydel I don't even thinks he likes me like that so don't get your hopes up" she said. Was she serious. "Are you like blind" I asked. "No why" she said. "He is so into you" I said. "What makes you say that" she asked. "Well the fact that he always wants to be around you, and that he is my brother and I can see right through him, and maybe the fact that he let you snuggle up to him during the movie, he doesn't let just anyone do that you know" I said. "Well maybe but Im not convinced" she said. "Whatever" I said laughing.  I jumped on my bed and she climbed on top of the air mattress. "Night Jay" I said. "Night Delly" she said. And with that I was asleep hoping soon Jay and Rocky would be together, I need to think of a ship name.
