Chapter 18

Ross's POV

I was helping Rydel and Jayden finish writing the song they were working on and it was killing me. I was sitting here writing a song about Jayden with Jayden and she had absolutley no clue. I am still trying to think of what she did that made me fall for her. We never really even talked that much when she was with Rocky, oh crap, Rocky, if he finds out this song is about Jay he will kill me. He cant find out I like Jay, he still isnt over her and he is probably hoping she will forgive him and get back together with him. I need to talk to Rydel later and make sure she keeps her mouth shut too. "Finished!" Rydel said. "Guys the song is amazing." Jay said. "Yea well we had some good inspiration." Rydel said. "So Ross who is this girl?" Jay asked. "Umm you dont know her." I said. "Oh, well good luck I hope she realizes what a great guy you are." she said. "yea me too." I said. I looked up and Rydel was giving me one of her really looks. Jay got up to go get some food so I took this as my chance to talk to Rydel. "Del you cant tell her." I said. "No duh." she said. "you cant tell Rocky either if he finds out I like her he will literally murder me." I said. "No worries, we dont have to tell him who the song is about." she said. "Thank you." I said. "You need to figure out what your going to do though, I think she is leaning about going back to Rocky so if your going to make a move then you need to make it quick." she said. "What do you think I should do?" I asked. "Honestly, I dont think you shoud keep this bottled up, I think you should at least tell her how you feel before she goes back to Rocky." she said. "yea I guess your right." I said. "Do it soon." she said as Jay came back. "Alright guys I should probably head back home." Jay said. "Before you go can I talk to quickly" I asked. "sure" she followed me away from Rydel. "So I just wanted to let you know that the song is about you, I know you like Rocky and are probably going to go back to him, but I thought I should let you know." I said. "Ross I appreciate you telling me, but yea I am going to give Rocky another chance, I do care about you Ross but more in the friendly brotherly way." she said. "Yea I figured." I said. She gave me a hug and kissed my cheek before grabbing her stuff and heading home.

Jayden's POV

I was really flattered that Ross had feelings for me but after thinking a lot today about me and Rocky I decided I was going to give him a second chance. To be honest I really missed having him around. He really did care about me and he was only affraid of loosing me which is why he freaked out on Ross. Even though I dont support him hitting his brother I understand it. If the tables were turned I would be upset if my sibling did that as well. He really does care about me, he took so much time when Ross punched me to make sure I was okay. Letting me sleep in his bed while holding ice to my face. There arent a lot of people who will do that, and I am not about to let the one person who would leave my life. I got home and texted Rocky asking him if he could come over to talk and in less then three minutes he was knocking on my door. I opened the door to reveal a smiling Rocky. "Hi." he said. "Hi" I said opening the door further so he could walk in. He came inside and walked to the couch and sat down. "So whats up." he said once I sat down. "Well I wanted to talk to you about us." I said. "Oh, ok." he said. "Well I thought about it and honestly I miss you." I said. I looked up and he had a huge smile on his face. "I miss you too." "I am willing to give you another chance, mostly becasue no one has ever really cared about me as much as you did, well do, as long as you promise not to punch your brothers in front of me." I siad. "I can do that." he said. "Good." and with that he pulled me into a huge bear hug and honestly it felt so good to be back in his arms again. I really did miss him, and I hope Ross can keep his crush on me to himself, I would hate for him and Rocky to get in another fight over me.
