Crashing Into My Life

Chapter 5

Jayden's POV

I had been laying there for about an hour not able to fall asleep so I decided to go get a glass of water.  I headed downstairs got a drink and headed back upstairs.  I laid back down and soon enough was asleep.

I woke up the next morning to a pillow being thrown at my face. "Yo what the hell" I said my eyes still closed.  Soon enough another pillow was launched at my face. "Dude for real stop" I said my eyes still shut.  A third pillow was launched at me so I shot up so I was sitting up. "Are you insane" I said looking at Rydels bed only to be surprised it wasn't Rydel but Rocky. "A little" he said laughing. "What the hell was that for" I said throwing the pillows back at him. "Rydel told me to wake you up" he said. "Did you ever hear of doing it nicely" I asked "Nope" he said popping the p. "Well then" I said getting up.  "Mom made breakfast if your hungry" he said walking out the door. I followed him downstairs and saw everyone at the table eating.  "Morning Jay" Stormie said. "Morning" I said sitting down next to Rydel across from Rocky.  "Did you sleep okay" she asked. "Yes I did thank you" I said as she put a plate of food in front of me.  We all finished eating and helped put everything away. "Thank you for breakfast Stormie it was amazing" I said. "No problem sweetie" she said. "So Jay we were thinking about going to the beach today you in" Rydel asked. "Yepp" I said. We went back upstairs and got changed. I put my green bikini on with my ripped jean shorts and muscle shirt with a pair of flip flops and my green sunglasses.  Rydel and I walked downstairs and the boys were loading the surf boards on the car.  We all pilled in and I was smashed in between Rocky and Ross in the very back since there were so many of us.  "Do you surf" Ross asked. "No" I said. "Well we will just have to teach you" he said. "Thanks but coordination really isn't my strong suit" I said. "Please, if Rocky can do it you can" he said making me laugh. "Hey" Rocky said hitting him making me laugh even more.  We all got out of the car and I followed Rydel to a nice spot on the sand so we could tan.  "The guys went over to start surfing but we decided to stay and get some color.  We sat down and took or shirts and shorts off so we were in our bathing suits.  We laid back and started tanning, that was until someone was hovering over me blocking my sun and dripping water on me.

Rocky's POV

Me Ross Riker and Ryland ran out to the water to catch some waves and we were about to go in when Riker nudged me. "What" I asked. He gestured over to Rydel and Jayden. I looked over and my mouth dropped.  Like seriously it was on the ground.  She had taken her shorts and shirt off leaving her in her bathing suit and dam did she have a nice body. "Rocky close your mouth your drooling" Riker said laughing. I felt my mouth to make sure nothing was there only causing Riker and Ross to laugh even harder at me.  "Dude you obviously like her why don't you just make a move already" Ross asked. "Because its not the right time yet" I said. "Dude there is never a right time for something like this just grow a pair and ask her out before I do" Ross said. I glared at him. "Dude calm down I was kidding" he said hiding behind Riker. "Its okay Ross he is just to chicken" Riker said smirking. "I am not chicken" I said. "Then prove it" he said. "I am not asking her out yet" I said. "Fine then go pick her up and throw her into the water" Riker said. "Then will you all leave me alone" I asked. "For now" they said. "Fine" I walked over to where they were and stood hovering over Jay.  She shifted realizing someone was standing over her.  Before she could look up I picked her up bridal style and ran to the water with her.

"What the..." she didn't even have time to finish that statement because I threw her into the water.  I stood there smirking when she came up.  "Rocky you're a dead man" she said walking over to me. "Oh him so scared" I said smirking. "You should be" she said and then started running to me.  I did what any guy would do in this situation...I ran. "Come on Rocky I just want a hug" she yelled after me. I looked at Riker and Ross and they were dying from laughing.  I didn't realize how close she was to me until she tackled me to the ground.  I rolled over and she was sitting on top of me pinning my arms to the ground. "Well then" I said smirking. "That was rude" she said glaring at me. "And tackling me wasn't" I said "Not at all" she said smirking. "Well anyway you tackle like a girl" I said making her cross her arms freeing mine.  I moved them so they were on her hips kind of holding her on top of me.  To be honest I kind of liked being this close to her.  "Your mean Rocky" she said in a  baby voice. "Aww I sowwy" I said mimicking her baby voice causing us both to burst out laughing.  We were laughing so hard she rolled off of me and laid there next to me.  "Are you really mad at me" I asked "No" she said laughing.  "It was actually refreshing" she said making me smile.  "Good" I said. "Why good" she asked. "Because I don't want you to be mad at me" I said getting up.  I held out my hands helping her up and I pulled her just hard enough for her to come flying into my arms and of course I caught her. "Well hello again" she said once she was in my arms. "Fancy meeting you here" I said. I didn't realize how close our faces where because when she looked up our noses brushed a little and I could swear I felt a spark.  I put her down and she walked over to Rydel and I walked back to my brothers. "Well that went well" Riker said. "Shut up" I said and ran into the water and began surfing.
