Chapter 2

Jayden’s POV

I woke up the next morning to Jamie jumping on me blasting R5 songs. “Jay wake up the movers are here.” She said “Okay okay im up” I said sitting up.  She jumped off my bed and ran downstairs, she was such a crazy child. “I rolled out of bed and got changed into a pair of ripped jeans and an All Time Low racer back tank top and my neon green converse.  I brushed my hair, and added a few loose curls to it and set it with some hairspray.  I brushed my teeth and headed downstairs. “Morning sweetie want some breakfast” My mom asked. “Sure that would be great” I took a seat at the island and waited fr my mom to finish my pancakes.  “Here you go” she said setting a plate in front of me. “Thanks momma” I said.  I finished off my breakfast and began bringing boxes out to the moving truck.  “Well you look nice whats the occasion” my dad asked. “New state new start” I said. “Oh so your not looking to impress any Cali boys” he said “Dad don’t say Cali boys” I said “Why” he asked. “Because its too cool for you” he said. “Wow so your old man isn’t cool anymore” he said “No not really” I said laughing.  “Whatever go grab some more boxes monkey” he said. “kay” I headed upstairs to get more boxes but popped my head in Jasons room first. “What do you want” he said “woah there MR. attitude I was just checking to make sure you were up” I said. “Well I am so leave” he said.  I walked out knowing he didn’t mean to be a jerk he was just upset about the move.  I helped bring the rest of the boxes out to the van and soon we were off and on our way to Cali. Ahh I cant wait!

I woke up a little while later.  I looked at my phone and it said it was 4:15pm.  Wow I was out for a long time.  “Hey how much further” I asked “About an hour and we will be there” my dad said. I decided to go on Instagram twitter and facebook to pass the time and soon enough we pulled up to the house.  It was seriously beautiful.  It was a nice tan color and was huge.  “alright guys Jay your room is the green one, Jase yours is the blue one and Jamie yours is the purple one, go check it out and start unpacking.” My dad said.  I grabbed a box and headed up to my room.  About 15 minutes later all my boxes were in my room.  “Hey sweetie what do you think of your room” my mom asked. “I love it” I said.  I had my own bathroom and a walk in closet every girls dream. “There is one more thing” my mom said walking over to the curtains. She pulled them back to reveal two glass doors opening up to a balcony.  I walked out and looked out. I had a beautiful view of the backyard and it was close enough where the only thing separating me from the neighbors balcony was a tree.  “Whats that noise” my mom asked.  I looked over at the neighbors house and saw a boy sitting on the balcony playing guitar.  “Him I think” I said pointing.  “Well he is kind of cute” she said “mom” I said rolling my eyes.  She walked out of my room and I couldn’t help but look back over to the boy playing guitar, he was really good, and was really cute.  He looked up from his guitar and was staring at me.  I waved slightly and he waved back then got up and went back inside his house so I decided to do the same and unpack.

Rocky’s POV

I saw the moving truck pull up so I decided to go out on the balcony and play guitar hoping that this girl had the room that connected to the balcony on their house.  I saw three kids get out of the car and walk inside but they were too far away to get a good look at her.  I kept strumming and soon enough I saw a girl walk onto the balcony with who I guess was her mom.  I have to admit she was pretty but I still didn’t get a good look at her.  Her mom walked away and I could see her staring at me out of the corner of my eye.  I looked up and she waved so I waved back.  My mom called my name so I got up and went back inside.  “Yea mom” I said as I walked inside.  “Hey were going to say hi and invite them over for dinner do you want to come” she asked. “Sure” I said joining her my dad Riker Ross Rydel and Ryland.  We walked next door and rang the bell.  After a few seconds a man opened the door. “Hi my name is Mark this is my wife Stormie and our kids, we live next door and we wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood” my dad said. “How nice Im James” he said shaking my dads hand. We walked inside. “Honey kids come down the neighbors are here” he called up the stairs.  A woman came down followed by the kids and I could not help but stare at the daughter.  She was stunning, from her hair, to her shirt, to her taste in converse especially the color.  “Hi Im Joyce” the woman said shaking my parents hands. “Im Stormie, my husband Mark and our kids Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ross, and Ryland” my mom said pointing to each of us. “These are our kids, Jamie Jason and Jayden” Joyce said.  “You have a lovely family” my mom said “you as well” joyce said.  I looked back at Jayden I guess her name was, and she was staring at me as well.  Did she like me?  “Well we made you some cookies, and we wanted to see if you all wanted to join us for dinner tonight” my mom asked. “That’s so sweet and absolutely that sounds fantastic.” James said. “Excellent it will give the kids some time to get to know each other” my dad said. “Well thank you so much for the invite and the cookies, Jay can you bring these to the kitchen for me” James said handing the trays of cookies to her. “Rocky why don’t you help her” my mom said winking at me. Thanks mom I thought.  “Sure” I said walking over to her and taking one of the trays.

 I followed her to the kitchen.  She put one of the trays down and then took mine. “Thanks” she said putting it down. “No problem” I said “Its Rocky right” she asked. “Yea, and your Jayden” I asked “yea, you can call me Jay if you want everyone else does up to you” she chuckled shaking my hand.  Was it weird that I noticed how well her hand fit into mine? “alrighty then” I said laughing.  “So you like All Time Low” I asked “more like Love” she laughed. “I like them too, what other bands you like” I asked. “Fall Out Boy, Nirvana, MKTO, One Republic, Maroon 5, and a little Bruno Mars.” She said “No way me too” I said. “Cool beans yo” she said making me laugh.   “So I noticed you play guitar” she said. “Yea Im actually in a band” I said “For reals” she said “Yea, with my brothers and sister and a close family friend” I said. “Wait not R5” she said. “Yean you heard of us” I asked “Yea my little sister is obsessed with you guys, well with Ross mostly Im surprised she hasn’t freaked out yet” she said. “Ahhhhhhh” someone screamed. “And there she goes” she laughed walking back to where everyone else was. “JayJay look its Ross Lynch” Jamie said pulling her sister over to Ross. “Yea I know Jamie” she laughed. “Alright well we should get going but we will see you guys in a little bit for dinner” my mom said. “Alright sounds good” James said. “Well I guess I will see you in a little bit” I said to Jay. “I guess so try not to miss me” she said. “it’ll be a struggle” I said making her chuckle.  We walked back to our house.  “So how did it go” Riker asked. “How did what go” I asked. “Don’t be an idiot Rocky you and Jayden” he said. “oh good I guess we talked a little turns out we like a lot of the same music and stuff” I said. “Cool well I think she likes you so you should continue to get to know her” he said “I was planning on it” I chuckled.  I went and got cleaned up for dinner and helped set the table.  About an hour later there was a knock at the door.
