Chapter 6

Jayden's POV

I walked back over to where Rydel was and she smiled at me. "What" I asked. "Your right he doesn't like you at all" she said sarcastically. "Oh shut it" I said laughing at her. "Do you see it at least" she asked. "I see that he enjoys flirting with me" I said. "That means he likes you" she said.  "No it means he is a flirt" I said making her laugh. "That's true but you know he likes you, you just don't want to admit it" she said.  I looked out to the water where the boys were surfing and my eyes didn't leave Rocky.  The way he was able to shred waves like that amazed me. He looked really hot while he was doing it on top. "See you cant take your eyes off him" Rydel said pulling me out of my thoughts. "Just because I am watching them surf doesn't mean I am staring at him" I said "Jay there is drool on your chin" she said. I pulled my hand up to wipe it. "See if you weren't staring at him you wouldn't have don't that" she said. "Okay Del I have told you that I think he is attractive and that I kind of like him" I said. "Yea, kind of but I think its more then kind of" she said. "What do you want from me" I asked. "I want you to admit it" she said. I was about to respond when Rocky scared the shit out of me. "Admit what" he asked sitting next t me. "Nothing" I said sending Rydel a 'you better keep your mouth shut' look. "Fine don't tell me" he said chuckling.

"Well were going to get food do you guys want anything" he asked. "No Im good" Rydel said. "Jay you want anything" he asked. "No Im fine" I said looking at my hands. "Fine then come help me" he said getting up.  I looked at Rydel and she gave me the 'girl you better go or ill beat your butt' look. "Fine" I said standing up.  We walked down the beach till we got to the snack bar.  "So is Rydel annoying you yet" he asked while we waited in line. "She is okay she just asks a lot of questions" I said. "yea well that's Rydel she never shuts up" he said chuckling. Finally it was our turn  to order. "Hey Rocky whatcha want" the blonde beauty behind the counter said. "Hey Sarah, just the usual" he said. "okay be right back" she said. "You know her" I asked. "yea we come here a lot" he chuckled. "I see" I said leaning against the counter. She came back a few minutes later with a box full of food. "Here you go" she said. "How much" he asked. "Now worries its on the house" she said winking at him. He grabbed the box and started to walk away. "Rocky there is a special napkin in there for you" Sarah said winking again. "Okay" he said and we walked away. I reached in the box and found a napkin with writing on it. "FOR ROCKY I KNOW YOU AND I HAVE HAD A FLIRTING THING FOR A WHILE NOW BUT I THINK WE SHOULD MAKE IT SOMETHING MORE THEN THAT, GIVE ME A CALL AND MAYBE WE CAN HANG OUT AND IF YOU PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT MAYBE YOULL GET LUCK" I read out loud.  "Wow Rocky looks like you got yourself an admirer" I said. "She has been hitting on me for a while now but im not interested" he said.   I grabbed a fry off the the tray in the box. "I thought someone said she wasn't hungry" he mocked smirking. "Wipe the smirk off your face Rocky" I said elbowing him. "No I like my smirk" he said. "Yea I bet you do" I said. "and what is that supposed to mean" he asked. "Well if the only good look I had was a smirk I would fall in love with it too" I said walking ahead of him but he soon caught up. "What do you mean my only good look" he asked. "I think its kind of self explanatory" I said. "Come on Jay you know you think im sexy" he said.  "Umm no" I said with a straight face. "wait what" he said looking at me. I smirked and walked ahead of him again. "I knew you couldn't resist this" he said walking past me and winking at me.

God I was falling for this guy.  I mean who wouldn't have you seen his face, and lets not even mention his 6 pack I think I will pass out right on the spot.  I sat back down and Rocky passed out all the food and then sat back down next to me.  He was eating his fries and because he was sweet he held them in front of me and let me steal a few.  I looked up every once in a while and he was staring at me smirking.  By like the third time of this I turned to him. "Whats with the dam smirk." I asked earning a chuckle from him. "It really bothers you doesn't it" he asked. "What" I asked. "Me looking at you" he said. "No you looking at me doesn't bother me it's the dam smirk" I said. "Why" he asked. "Ummm... well... ummm..." I started. "It makes you die inside doesn't it" he said. I looked at him and of course he was smirking again.  I got up and walked down to the water.  God he was right that stupid smirk makes me die inside I just want to reach up and smash my lips onto his.  That smirk was just so dang hot.

Rocky's POV

"What did you do" Riker asked. "I don't know" I said looking at Jay as she walked down to the water.  "What happened then" Riker asked. "I said that my smirk must make her die inside" I said still looking at Jay as she just stood there.  "She likes you bro" he said laughing. "I don't think so anymore" I said watching her as she just sat there letting the waves come up to her feet.
