Crashing Into My Life

Chapter 7

Rocky’s POV

We stayed at the beach for another hour or so and Jayden hadn’t moved from her spot once.  Rydel finally got her to get up so we could leave but she didn’t sit near me the ride home which made me really upset.  We got back home and Ross suggested we watch a movie so I asked Jay if she wanted to join us. “I should probably be getting home and help finish unpacking but thanks anyway” she said.  She went up to Rydels room and grabbed her stuff then came back downstairs.  She gave everyone a hug goodbye except me and walked back to her house.  I just stood there staring at the door, I had just ruined my chances with her. “Don’t take it personal dude” Riker said. “Why not she deliberately gave everyone a hug except me, she wont talk to me and she is obviously upset with me” I said and stormed upstairs to my room and laid my head on my pillow.  This was officially the worst day ever.

Rydel’s POV

“I feel bad for him Riker” I said. “I know but he has to figure it out for himself” he said. “He told you he liked her, and she told me she likes him but they are to blind to see that they like each other” I said. “I know but we cant say anything and ruin the trust they have in us” he said. “I know its just I want him to be happy and she makes him happy so I just want to tell him so bad” I said. “I know and believe me so do I but we cant, promise me you wont say anything Delly” he said looking at me. “Fine I promise I wont tell Rocky or Jayden that they like each other” I said.  “Thank you, now go get ready for bed its getting late” he said. “Yes dad” I said making him laugh.

I walked upstairs to my room taking a quick shower then grabbing my phone and texting Jayden. I sent her like 10 messages and she hasn’t responded to any of them.  I hope she isn’t mad at all of us.  I mean I didn’t do anything, it was Rocky and his mouth with no filter.  I sent her one last message in hope she would respond but no such luck.  I headed downstairs and sat next to Ross on the couch. “Hey” he said. “Hi” I said. “Whats wrong” he asked. He was always good at telling when I was upset. “I have been texting Jay and she wont answer me” I said. “She is probably just busy, she has no reason to be upset with you right” he asked. “That’s what Im hoping but then again maybe I annoy her so that’s why she wont answer” I said. “Im sure that’s not the case, she really seems to like hanging out with you I think she is just upset with Rocky and wants nothing to do with talking to anyone” he said. “I hope your right” I said.  I walked back upstairs and headed to bed.

Jayden’s POV

I walked back to my house and headed inside. “Mom Im home” I yelled walking up to my room. “Hey sweetie how was your day” she asked. “Amaz-balls” I said going into my room and plopping on my bed.  I was kind of depressed about how the end of the day went.  It started off really well but crashed and burned really fast.  My phone was buzzing letting me know I had gotten some texts but I was to upset to look and see what they said.  I felt bad not saying goodbye to Rocky but after what he said I couldn’t face him knowing in the back of my mind that what he said was true.  I finally admitted it to myself.  I am falling for Rocky Lynch.  Finally I got up and took a shower and when I got out I looked at my phone.  I had a lot of messages from Rydel, I felt bad that I didn’t answer her, she probably thinks I am mad at her.  I was going to message her but when I looked at the time I realized she was probably in bed, so I decided that I would stop over tomorrow and apologize and make sure she wasn’t upset with me.  I crawled into my bed and was asleep very quickly.
