It was late afternoon when Marian and Gabriel arrived at their house in Batangas after more than two hours of a long drive. Lucky are they since they haven't experienced traffic along the way.

Marian was in rush to get home after they argued because she'd been not feeling well --her migraine attacked her once again. So she cancelled all her appointments for that day. She really wanted to lie down on a soft mattress, take much her needed sleep and also to space out from Gabriel.

Many random thoughts playing in her head each and every time she's with him. But somehow, something about him never change and now that she's back in his life, she can't deny the fact that her feelings for him also gradually coming back. But it shouldn't be happening. She need to restraint herself from those feelings she felt for him.

While on their way home, both decided to passed by McDonalds drive thru to buy their lunch, as usual burgers and fries for them.
They took their lunch inside the car while Marian offered to feed him because it's dangerous for Gab to do it for himself while driving. This gestures of her has been natural in her since it is what she always did to him whenever they took a long drive before. Even it's been hard for both of them to settle personal issues between them, at some point they've friends and have been together before.

"Hi Ma, how are you?." Carmina entered her room with a glass of fresh lemon juice.

Marian got up from her bed and leaned her back on the headboard. She yawned still feeling lazy as she squints her eyes.

"I'm feeling better na." She replied, while her eyes roam around the room. "You forgot to take your meds na naman kasi." She said taking her sit beside her.

"Nasaan ang papa mo? She asked out of nowhere.

Carmina bit her lower lip in awe and smiled at her playfully.

"Hmmmn!" Still her smile never fade away. "Miss mo na agad?" She mumbled softly.

Marian gave her a frowned and asked. "Why are you smiling lady?

"Po?"

" Sabi ko bakit ka ngumingiti?"

"Nuh!" Carmina shook her head and then she bit her fingernails. "You're weird."

"And why?"

"Because your looking for Papa."

"And?"

"You're with him the whole time. Usually hindi mo naman siya hinahanap. So it's kinda weird. Unless there is something...."

"Carmina!" Marian glared warning her to stop.

"Something you need. You already miss him Ma?." She finished her statement.

Marian heaved a sigh and took a sip of lemon juice.

"Anyway, Papa left to visit the farm kasi nagkaroon daw ng problema doon dahil sa bagyo."

"Ah! Okay." She nodded at her and heave a sigh.

"Bakit mo pala hinahanap si Papa Ma? If you wouldn't mind?"

Marian shook her head. "It doesn't matter. I just want to know how I end up here." She played her fingers.

"You don't remember?" She asked playfully.

She shook her head in response. "I got so drained kanina, plus my migraine. "
