Marian came home at around six in the evening after what happened to her and Gabriel, the house was quiet than usual. She was walking with her feet while she slowly open the door. Although she felt the stabbing pain inside her heart that she couldn't contain, but at the same time she felt relieve to finally expressed her feelings. She entered the living room and saw Carmina along the doorway. Her daughter looked at her eyes, her body in frozen place but she responded her with a sharp gaze and avoided hers eyes. Without saying any words, Carmina passed by her side, a sign that she is still mad at her. Marian swallowed the lump in her throat and held her left arm.

"Carmz!" She called her attention.

Her daughter look at her intently, waiting for her to finish her words. She raised her eyebrow.

"I'm sorry anak. Hindi sinasadya ni Mama. I hope you hear me out." She explained holding back her tears but her voice cracked.

Carmina's eyes was on her but no words came out her mouth.

Meanwhile, Cassandra was fixing her things when she forgot something inside her car. So she cheerfully went down the stairs when she saw her sister talking to her Mama. She settled herself behind the wall.

"You wan to talk to me right?" She asked raising her left eyebrow.

"Yeah!" She nodded. "Please."

"Well then, fixed yourself first. I'll be at the pool after dinner."

"Thank you anak."  She ignore her when she's about to pull her for a hug. Her daughter left her alone dumbfounded.

Cassandra slowly take her few steps backward upstairs when Marian noticed her.

"Cassandra" She called her name sternly.

It made her stop, but she took a deep breath before facing her.

"Po?"

"Come with me inside my room." She said then proceeded inside.

After getting her things, Cassandra took her way inside her parents room. She's Scared. Scared of the words her mom might throw  her. She took a deep breath before she enter her room. Her Mama was already wearing a white sleeveless and a printed pj's.

"Ma!" She sigh heavily while looking at her.

"I just want to apologize for what I said while ago." She told her. " Maybe I'm having a bad day kaya nasabi ko yun. Kaya sana maintindihan mo na hindi ako ganoon kasamang nanay. Gusto ko lang na matuto kang  lumaban at manindigan para sa sarili mo. Because no one will do that to you." She uttered sternly.

She smiled slightly and  nodded at her. "Hindi naman po ako nagagalit dahil dun Ma. Besides, naguiguilty ako kasi nag away kayo ni Carmina ng Sahil sakin. Gusto ko lang po kayong makasama."

Marian looked at her eyes in surprise, then avoided it. "You should be!"

"Sorry po."

"We never had an argument like this, even before. Kaya kinausap kita dahil gusto kong maayos to bago ang birthday niyo.."

"Ano pong gusto niyong gawin ko?"

"I want you to talk to her, tell her na we settled things. Okay naman tayo diba? Or may problema ka sakin?"

"Sige po, I will Ma." She looked at her with those innocent eyes. "Opo! Wala po along problema sa inyo" She nodded.

"Good! Makakaalis kana." Cassandra stared at her for a while, in doubt whether to leave or to ask for something.

"May kailangan kapa?" She asked curiously.

She breathed in. "Pwde po bang mayakap kayo? Kahit sandali lang po."  She uttered shyly.
