It had been a long sleepless night but Marian was still far from being tired. She was rolling on her bed the whole time trying her get herself exhausted, so she could sleep- but she failed to do so.

She's moved down and roamed around the whole ground floor. Her feet brought her into the kitchen area whom she decided to prepare her morning coffee. It was a typical morning that would seem to be not so well when she keep on sneezing and her throat sore. Maybe because of the climate here, she told herself.

She went to the toilet to release but when she snooze again not knowing Gabriel was already in front if her. He turned to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes!" She only said, not facing him.

She wanted to let him know that she's okay even if she feels not. She wanted to make him feel that she doesn't need his care, that she can stand on her own, so she pretented to him.

"Okay! Good morning." He greeted. "Come! I'll make breakfast."

Gabriel held her hand as he lead her to the counter area when she stopped. He stared at her for a while and then he realized that he's holding her hand. "I'm sorry" He said and released her hand ".... I just...uhhmm....sorry. Na overwhelmed lang ako." He apologised.

"I remember we used to do this before, every morning. I always make breakfast."

" That was before Gab. Twelve years had been passed and things were already different."

"I know! Sorry again."

Marian gave him a nod as she walked towards the kitchen silently and seated on the counter top. She continued to sneezed again.

"Sugurado kang okay ka lang?" Gabriel followed and asked again.

"Wala lang to, maybe nanibago lang siguro sa panahon." she sighed while she sip the cup of her coffee.

"Magluluto ako ng breakfast my gusto ka bang kainin?"

She shook her head. "I'm okay with the coffee." Then she stood up. "I'll continue this in the garden. Maiwan na kita."

Gabriel bob his head to give her permission to leave the area. He knows that she doesn't feel comfortable being with him in this very moment. Where it was just only the two of them. He knows that she will never be at ease around him and that is the horrible truth.

As she walked away, Gabriel like he was trying to say something but could not get a words out of his mouth. He was scratching his head when he figured to call her name.

"Yan?"

Marian paused from her steps as she turned her back, her aura is serious.

"Uhhhmm!" His voice cracked, not knowing what to ask or where to begin.

"Ayaw mo ba talagang sumama mamaya? I think it could be a better way para makapag relax ka."

"Pinipilit mo ba ako?" She frowned.

"Kung gusto mo lang naman. I mean baka magbago ang isip mo. You realized that you needed to unwind pala."

"So pinipilit mo nga ako?" She raised her left eyebrow.

Gabriel shook his head.

"Not like that!" He sighed "I'm sorry."

"You know why I don't want to go?"

He shook his head again.

She released a heavy sighed.

" Because I don't want to be with that place because it will only reminds me of my son. You how much he love the beach and I don't want to remember him that way. Hindi ako magiging masaya."
