hi guys!!!! I am back with the next chap!I had a great time in thailand.
Anyways guess what? it has been nearly a year since i started this writing journey. I started writing 30D,30M nearly an year ago and it feels like yesterday. Anyways lets get into the chap!
Maniks POV
Some people dream of waking up next to the love of their life . Somehow this is not written in my fate because Nandini, the love of my life never sleeps next to me but on top of me.
Over the years of our relationship, Nandu has started having new habits. I think i dont need to mention all these habits are weird. Firstly, she doesn't seem to understand the use of a mattress because somehow she is always sleeping on top of me. Secondly she has this weird obsession of holding my ears while sleeping. (A/N; My brother had this weird habit of holding the ears of the person sleeping next to him. I think he has put an end to this weird obsession.)
Weirdness is somehow the foundation of our relationship. Her habits have instiled in mind to such an extend that i can now clearly picturise Nandu as a grandmother, who is sleeping on top of me.
We had reached dada ji's house yesterday midnight. So we couldn't meet dada ji and grand ma.
"Nandu, get up"I repeat myself for the hundredth time.
" this is the tenth time i am saying five minutes for the last ten minutes" she groans.
"exactly my point" i say. "Five more minutes" she cries.
After five minutes again try to wake her up" Nandu, i have to go out now, wake up"
She instantly lifts her head from my chest and asks" where are you going"?
" i have to go to the airport to pick up fab four" i reply as she sits on the mattress.
Nandini's Pov
Manik gets out of the washroom in a hurry and says" i got to go. Should i pick up something from the grocery store"
"nothing except ice creams" i say and he chuckles.
As he was about to open the rooms door i call out" manik"
" huh" he replies.
" You are in such a big hurry, i couldn't even check you out" i complain.
He chuckles and says " okay check me out but hurry".
I give him half hug and look at him and says " damn my hubby is looking hot. I think you are finally starting to match me"
" is it"? he asks kissing my cheeks.
" i have to go" he says walking away.
"Manik, i will miss you" i say in a fake town.
" i will miss you too, my beloved" he says acting as if he was wiping his tear"
" don't forget to brush your teeth cause your breath stinks" he says.
"as if you wake up with lavenders in your mouth" i reply. This has turned into our usual dialogue.
I freshen up and go downstairs with mae and nash in both my arms.
As soon as i go down i see dada ji who is reading the newspaper and grandma playing on her phone.
Grandma sees me with nash and mae and smiles for a split second and goes back to a serious face.
I make mae and nash lay down on the couch. I place the cushion next to them to prevent them from falling.
I rush upstairs and come back after grabbing the baby bag.
"Nandu" i hear a voice and turn around to find riddhima, aryaman and abhi gaping at me.
"when did you come" they ask as riddhima hugs me.
" we came yesterday night, manik just went to pick up fab four" i say.
After a hug session riddhima asks " where is my little nephew and niece " . She starts hopping in excitement.
I point at the couch and riddhima lets out a girly squeal.
I pick up both of them one by one and let riddhima and arya hold them.
"They are so cute" abhi says.
"Obviously they will be cute, they have such a cute mom" i flaunt.
" The same old Nandu" Arya says giggling.
I hear the car honk and rush outside waiting for Manik but to my surprise it was Amms and Nyonika mom.
I slowly scoot back inside as i was little scared of Amms. Heheh.
I hear another honk and i peep outside to see Manik. I go outside with mae and Nash and mae and see fab four and manik getting out of the car.
" My little cuties are awake" manik chides and walks towards me. He constantly makes cute expressions. I would kiss him right now but i can sense that Amms is looking at me from behind. He picks up mae and gives a peck to both nash and mae.
"Nandu" Alya and mukti bawl.
"Cabir comes and takes Nash from my hands letting me hug Alya and Mukti.
"lets go inside" i suggest and everyone walks in and manik halts in his way seeing mom.
I give him a side hug and he walks into the house.
Maniks pov
After one hour
Nandini walks into the room after putting both nash and mae to sleep. Nash and Mae were a little cranky today. She had to fight a war to put them to sleep. It was nandu's day to put them to sleep so her ego didnt allow her to take my help.
Fab four and ridz,arya and abhi were present in my room.
" so guys what is the plan? how do you plan on persuading them?" cabir asks.
" i have no idea" i exclaim.
Nandini walks towards me and sits on my lap. Suprisingly, no one says anything. Maybe because this is a normal thing to expect from our relationship.
I wrap my hands around Nandu and sigh.
"Guys, we just arrived, lets enjoy for a few days then start planning?" Dhruv suggests to which we all agree.
"So lets enjoy for a few days"" i say.
" YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!" nandu screams waking up nash and mae
" damn it" she cries.
