I had my next class with Jacob, who decided to sit next to me, unlike the other two, oh yay.

Now that he thinks I'm going to help him, he is acting like my new best friend. I think I prefer him being mad at me. Don't get me wrong. Jacob was probably the nicest one out of the three, but knowing what I know what he did to Bree really irked me.

But then again Jaxon did stick up for the girls. What was I thinking? They are the enemy and we girls need to stick together. All through the lesson, I was trying to focus when all I heard yapping next to me. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore, "Will you shut the hell up!"

This made everyone stop and look at us. The teacher frowned, "Miss Martinez is there a reason you needed to disrupt my class?"

"No, sir, sorry," I mumbled.

"Then I know you won't mind doing an essay on the topic at hand."

"No, sir," I added.

"I want a good thousand-word essay on my desk when you will return tomorrow. Now back to the lesson class," he turned back to the chalkboard.

Perfect. Not only did I get detention my first day, but I got a punishment assignment all thanks to these three idiots. If they think I'm helping them now, they are out of their ever loving minds.

Oh, and did I mention I get to have a nice lecture from Nana when I get home. As soon as the bell rang, I ran out of class and to my next class. Once that class was over I hurriedly grabbed my stuff and took off for home. The less I saw them the better. They were nothing but trouble.

I ran ten blocks until I ran inside, slamming the door shut and leaning up against the door. I was trying to catch my breath. Nana came into the room to see what all the ruckus was and stood there with her hands on her hips, shaking her head.

"I know, I know, I know what you're going to say and yes I know I'm due for a lecture but I have a lot of homework to do. We'll talk in a bit. Love you," I said, giving her a kiss and heading to my room leaving her to throw her hands up and speak Spanish in frustration.

After I whipped out the essay and my other homework, I went downstairs and had dinner and a lecture from Nana. I usually try to avoid them, but this time there was no avoiding it, but I had to figure out how to avoid the idiots tomorrow. I didn't need any more trouble.

"You did what?!"

"I tried to talk to her when she yelled and got a punishment essay," said Jacob.

"Fantastic, can't you idiots do anything right?! Those first two chicks and now this new girl; between your lips and your yapping we'll be lucky to even get that favor out of her," Jaxon said.

"Why is this bitch so important?" Liam asked.

"Well, first stop calling women bitches. It makes you look stupid and second I'm tired of having this stupid reputation we got because people can't keep their mouth shut," he said.

"But I thought you wanted this reputation," Jacob asked.

"Fuck no! I got it because of my ole man! I can't stand the bastard!"

Jaxon's phone rang and his dad showed up on caller id. Jaxon declined the call.

"Need a place to crash," Liam asked.

"Yeah, he's leaving in a few days for a couple of months. I can't wait until I graduate. I'm fucking out of this place," he exhaled deeply.

They headed to Liam's place and Jaxon crashed on the couch. He lay there with an arm behind his head. All he could think about was this girl and how different she was. Was a favor all he needed or was it something more? He just didn't know anymore.
