After my brief make-out session with Jaxon, I laid on my bed letting thoughts run through my head. We didn't say anything on the way back. Maybe he had second thoughts. Maybe he made a mistake. Maybe it was just a kiss, no big deal to him.
I laid there. First Liam and now Jaxon but the difference were with Jaxon I felt something. With Liam, I didn't. Ugh, how did my life get so complicated? Oh, that's right, we moved to Michigan.

UnknownI tossed my keys on the table by the door. It's been a long day. Drew and Ash were in the living room going over some new information with Manny. I walked in and sat down.
"So, you're sure about this Drew," Manny asked.
"Trust me, I'm sure," he said to Manny.
"What are you sure about?" I asked.
"Gio almost saw Sasha today," Drew confirmed.
Great, not only were we dealing with his psychopath father, but his kid is a loose cannon as well. The only difference is, Gio is crazy.
"How?!"
"She followed me and when I confronted her, he came walking down the hall with some girl. I made it look like we were 'making out,' just so he wouldn't get suspicious," Drew said casually.
I don't know why that bothered me so much. I know Drew is just doing his job, but to know another guy was that close proximity to her, really irked me. I've got to get my feelings in check and remember this is just a case. Plus, it is Manny's daughter and I know he could break me like a twig if he ever found out.
"Well, I'm going to bed," I said. I needed to cool off before I say something I might regret. They all looked at me a bit confused, but I shrugged, "Been a long day," and left it at that.

I laid in bed trying to get to sleep, but I couldn't get that kiss out of my mind. A couple of weeks I couldn't stand Jaxon but now I wasn't so sure. The minute he kissed me it was like something awakened inside me. I kept thinking about him and those girls. What if I was another girl that he just played around with and decided to move on? I didn't want to be just another girl.As I sat there, I let my mind run wild, I heard a tapping at my window. I got out of bed and went to the window. I opened the window, "Jaxon?! What are you doing here?!"
"Well, you know, just hanging out," he grinned.
I heard a knock at my door, "Nieta?"
Well, shit. I slammed the window shut and closed the curtains closed. I went over to the door and answered it.
"Yes, Nana?"
"Is everything okay? I heard yelling," she asked concerned.
"Sí, I just had a bad dream," I said faking yawning.
"Oh, okay, well, try and sleep. Buenas Noches nieta," she said, giving me a kiss.
"Buenas Noches nana," I said, giving her a kiss back.
After she left, I closed my door, then going back to the window. I opened the curtain and the window to find Jaxon sitting there, tapping his cheek with his fingers.
"Sorry," I said, giving him a look.
"No worries. Thought I would just hang out and stare at the stars," he said to me.
This made me giggle.
"I would ask you in but Nana would never approve," I said with an apologetic look.
"It's cool," he said, leaning into the window and inches away from my face.
I stared at him dreamily, then snapped out of it, "By the way, what are you doing here?"
"Well, my old man and I had another argument and I needed to get out of there. I decided to go for a drive and found myself in front of your house. Plus, I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss earlier," he said nonchalantly.
I smiled, "Really?"
"Sure, what's not to think about? I mean I know I'm not your first kiss, but," I cut him off by grabbing his face and pulling his lips to mine. It took him by surprise when he gave in and kissed me back. He moved a hand underneath my hair, resting his hand on the back of my head as I moved my hands to his chest.
The kiss was sweet and tender. It made fireworks go off in my stomach. We pulled away breathlessly.
"Wow," I said.
"Wow is right," he smiled.
He went to kiss me again, but I stopped him. He looked at me confused, "What?"
"As much as I like this, I don't want to be just another girl."
He looked at me, thinking quietly and said, "Trust me, you aren't like any of the other girls."
"But you are a big flirt and date a lot. I've never had a boyfriend or even a date," I said looking down. It was embarrassing to admit. It's not like my dad and nana are strict with dating. In fact, I was waiting for that someone special in my life.
He lifted my chin, "Then how about we start with a date?"
My eyes widened, "As long as you promise not to hit me with anything." He grinned. Ah, the textbook, I laughed the first time I met him.
"Now I do have a small request. Well, actually a couple," he said to me.
"What's that?" I asked.
"I'll take you on a date this Friday if you let me hold your hand and kiss you when we're around people," he said to me.
I gave it a thought and said, "Okay."
"Great, now people will know you're mine," he said as he turned to climb down.
I leaned out of the window, "What do you mean yours?!"
"See you later sweet cheeks," he said, waving behind him to me.
I sat back in my bedroom, dumbfounded. Did I just agree to be Jaxon's girlfriend? We only just kissed. Nah, that can't be right, can it? What just happened? Well, damn.
