Over the next few months, I had to adjust to not seeing Jaxon and the guys being gone. When I tried to ask dad, he would just disregard my questions. I told the girls and while they were surprised they understood. They promised not to say anything, and even tried to take my mind off of Jaxon but it didn't work. I missed him every day and my heart ached.
Halloween came and went, as did Thanksgiving and now it was wintertime and Christmas was almost here. Dad was assigned a new case and I was just existing doing my best dealing with a broken heart. I even at one point called his number, but it was disconnected. Of course. A new case, a new identity.
With Christmas upon us, I wasn't much in the mood to celebrate. Papi and Nana tried to get me into the spirit, but I just couldn't force myself. I think I'll just sleep through Christmas.

Manny knocked on a door carrying a leather briefcase and Ash opened the door. He walked into the house to see the four of them sitting in the living room discussing the current case they were working on.He walked in with Ash and over to them. They all stopped and looked up, "Manny, what's going on?" Jaxon asked.
Manny unzipped the case and pulled out some files and tossed them on the coffee table, "Pack your bags boys, you have been assigned a new case."
They each picked up a file and looked through it and they all looked at him.
"What about the case, we're currently working on," Drew asked.
"That's being reassigned. This case needs the four of you more," he said to them.
They all looked at him, then all smiled. Manny turned to leave then stopped and looked at them, "Oh Merry Christmas boys." With that, he left.
Jaxon looked at the other three, "Well, you heard the man. Let's pack, we got a case to attend to." He tossed the file on the coffee table and they all ran upstairs to pack.

I was walking down the hallway, flipping through my notes, not really paying attention since I had been so focused on the finals, trying to take my mind off of Jaxon that I bumped into someone by accident that I dropped my notes and the book on the floor."Sorry," I mumbled as I crouched down to pick up my stuff.
"It's okay," they said as they helped me. They picked up my notes and handed them to me.
I took the notes from them and stopped looking up to see those ocean blue eyes staring back at me. I just need more sleep because I'm hallucinating thinking I'm seeing Jaxon.
"Miss me," he asked, giving me his infamous smirk.
I dropped my stuff again as I rubbed my eyes. I looked again as he was picking my stuff back up in shocked. He handed the stuff back to me, "You know, if you keep dropping your things, people are going to think there is something seriously wrong you."
I took my stuff out of his hands and threw them on the ground and tackled him, making him land on his back with me on top of him. Then I smashed my lips onto his, taking him by surprise, then he wrapped his arms around me kissing me back.
I pulled back, "Hi."
"Hi, yourself, from that kiss, I take it you missed me?"
"Just a little," I smiled.
"Well, now I feel special," he grinned.
"Okay, you lovebirds, how about you stop making out in the hallway," Liam said.
I looked to see Drew, Jacob, and Liam is standing there, smiling. I got up and gave them all a hug.
"No need to help me up, I'll just lay here on the hard, cold floor," Jaxon said. I rolled my eyes and helped him up off the floor.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"It seems Manny decided to pull us from our current case and give us a special case," Jacob answered me.
I gave them a look, "What special case?"
"It seems a certain Mexican Princess needs her own special detail," Jaxon said.
"But, Mendoza and his son are dead," I said a bit confused.
"Yeah, they are but not his family. Does Gia Gallanti ring a bell," Drew asked.
"Yeah, we use to be friends back in Cali. Why,"
I asked them."It seems her family is on the hunt for whoever took down her cousin and uncle," Drew said.
"But that doesn't make any sense. Gia is Italian," I said confused.
"Actually, she's Mexican. Her mother married an Italian. Mendoza and her mother were siblings and they're out for blood," Jacob added.
I looked at all of them shocked.
"They're also headed to Michigan," Jaxon said to me.
"Now what happens," I asked them.
"Well, that's why we're here. We've been assigned to protect you, which means your house is about to get crowded," Jaxon said with a smile.
I gave them all a look, "You're not serious?"
"It's all set, plus we already dropped our stuff off at the house," Liam said.
Great, it was one thing for Jaxon being there, but now three more. This was going to be interesting. I shook my head and started talking in Spanish as I walked away.
"Damn, she's got a temper," Liam said.
"Yeah, but that's what makes her hot," Jaxon said as he ran after me.
"This should be fun living with those two," Drew said.
"You have no idea. Have you met Nana," Liam asked?
"Yeah, I met her when we dropped off our stuff. She's a lovely woman," Drew replied.
"Yeah, and she also said they would make cute babies," Jacob added.
"This could be a problem," Drew said.
"Yeah," Liam and Jacob said together.

Bree and Talia were shocked to hear Liam and Jacob were back along with Drew, but after they all talked to the girls, things seemed to calm down. We all headed to my house for the school was done for the next two weeks and nana was making a special Mexican dish for all of all us.Let's just say this was going to be interesting having the guys here while I was once again hunted down by lunatics. Could my life get any more complicated? Don't answer that.
